Dirty Dozen April 1st

ya, i had a pretty fun time for my first time playing with the dirty dozen guys. bummer that part of the field was flooded and there was a bit too much down time near the end, but the beginning games were great.

All in All, great fun (to be expected at Dirty Dozen events) Especially with the team building exercises and Li'l Bears words of Wisdom.

Im not sure how many times I got RyanDog, but after his last run in the obstacle course, his new nickname should be "SPLOOSH!"

I just got back from the ER. Looks as if I won't be playing for a few weeks. The good news is, I didn't break anything when I tumbled over during my charge. And I didn't dislocate my shoulder ether. I did seem to injure a Ligament (sp?) and my arm is in a sling for a week or two.

Make no mistake, I'll be back in the field as soon as my shoulder heals.

All in all, it was a worth while charge to make a knife kill. Even if the mud that I slid on got the best of me.

Yeah that sucks about your shoulder skypilot, but now that we know that your OK what about your rifle is it OK .

Good games, I had a good time even though I got stuck with the noobs all day (oh well I guess I fit in that category). ;D

Thanks to the dirty dozen and to the land owner for letting us play. I was a little disappointed to see the mess that some people left for them to clean up, but all in all it was a good day.

Hope to see some good pictures soon.

what mess? If you ar talking about bb's, many of the bbs you see in the staging area, are there from games past.

The day was definately a good one. And Knief's nutshot was made by youcantseeme.
It was funny as hell Me and Youcantseeme are waiting just around the corner inside the house, and Knief is comming up towards the house. Me and Youcantseeme jump out around the corner, and Youcantseeme nailed Knief square in the balls. Dropped him to his feet.

That sucks that your arm got messed up skypilot.

I still got welts for the day. I counted 17 on just my hands, and maybe a dozen more on my back and arms. I don't know how I kept gettin hit in teh hands, It's a mystery to me... and I took one dam close shot to the neck, left a huge welt there. And thnaks to my superwide goggles, I sadly fell to one headshot.It caught the thig that connects the strap to the goggle frame. Nice shot to whoever it was that took me out in the game.

The mess I was referring to was, water bottles, empty bb containers and just general junk. I hope that the ones that left it will not be that disrespectful again. It would be terrible if we were not able to play there anymore because of a few lazy people.

yeah i agree there was alot of bottle that were left laying around in the staging area we cleaned it up it wasnt that big of a deal but it was taken care of

Between my terrible jokes and Wild Gunman running away from Skypilot's rifle, I had a good time. It was nice to meet El, who is truly a redneck, and the MTASC guys, who are truly bad ass. Hell, I even met a kid I know from school.

The best time I had was when I stood behind the new sniper tower and just "directed traffic" for most of the game, I know understand the best part of the whole experience is not just the shooting, but the tactics.

I think the most fun I had was the 3-gun competition and the pistol shootouts me, nick, skypilot and gbiscuit had during all that down time in teh middle of the day. Those was fun.

So, any good stroies this time around Knief?

I had a great time yesterday, I actually like the water in the corner of the field, you can flank people on the right without them expecting it lol. It was good to see even more new faces out there to, I think we'll have some decent sized games going by the end of the season.

The best part was when kneif started to eat his hotdog thing and probably 5 guys made different jokes out of it lol.
