Rules (as they currently stand, copy & pasted from Brian's post in Airsoft Fields):
1) Barrell bags on coming and going to fields along w/ safety on and always in neutral zones.
2) Airsoft approved goggle/mask or paintball goggle/mask. Ears, nose, mouth and head cover is not required (except 12-14 years old).
3) .20 BB velcity close quarter 400 fps .25 350 fps snipers at 100ft or more 500 fps Note: This is what Brian posted, but we will be following MiA rules. The 500 fps max rule will be figured out.
No full auto or 3 round burst settings, semiauto settings only for sniper rifles. No players under 12. 12-14 years old w/ an adult and full face, nose, mouth and ear coverage.

I think we were also doing no magazines in guns in the neutral zone and that we had to make sure that the last round was discharged.

"No full auto or 3 round burst settings, semiauto settings only for sniper rifles."

I am hosting this small gathering and I will be adding no full auto rule to some games but not to all of them Semi auto brings a whole new game it takes a little more skill to try and hit targets so we use it to take the games to a different level.

some of my rifles do not have a semi auto feature and i was just concerned, but i do not mind semi auto games, they keep spraying and praying to a minimum.

I just recieved an email from Brian to confirm the fps limits.
Snipers may not exceed the 500fps limit per insurance requirements. I assume this is with a .20g BB.

Ok, I can probably go, but I need some information here.
1. Can somebody explain this $20 for the whole day thing?
2. Are the homemade barrle condoms that some of us made fo futureball allowed, as long as they work?
3. Is this field heavily wooded (aka, do i need bug spray)?

What aren't you getting about the $20 for a full day thing? You pay $20 and play for the full day.

Bman - you will need bug spray. I don't know about the barrel condoms, but it couldn't hurt to bring them and see what Brian says about them.

Watch out for large ants too. Skypilot decided to pick a good sniping spot that he didn't know was right on top of an ant hill and ended up having ants crawling all over him.

I was wondering the same damn thing. For paintball I would guess no, the point is if the thing decides it want to cook off the condom needs to stop anything flying out of the barrel, until it is empty. Barrel plugs won't work, and a sock would only stop the first few. BBs on the other hand, a sock could probably stay on and catch the whole magazine.
