Hey, I'm right down the road from Xicutioner, and I'm willing to come out anytime. (i was the guy who had the smokes, and to respond to previous comment, i was told that smokes were not allowed at all at first, then after that game i was told "only in the city" so they weren't used till later. oh, and i was also the guy who took about 400 pictures in the second half the day. and i was the guy that got shot in the face and bled a lot. if that doesn't help you to remember, my name is kyle) as for the Field and money, i think it was very gracious of the owner to let us park all over his nice lawn, use his stuff, use his field, and everything else. a large amount of the money should be paid to him, some to the people who wrote/planned the game, some to the ref's, and the rest, hopefully about half at least, should be put into the Field. As far as the addition of old bust up cars, it's a definite +, and adds to the overall look and effect of a cityscape. the other 2 things i would suggest are 1. a high point, probably a tree stand, based in the city that is off limits to players, and only to be used for ref's (and photographers...) 2. the addition of random props, maybe a permanent set for that Field or the guys that hosted, items like=large smokes, more lighting in the city, including movable spotlight for gestapo themed games (seen it done, it's amazing), full weighted dummies, and maybe a couple (small, very small, possibly even joke) prizes. Whether it be a gift card to local air soft shops (spyops, etc) or just goofy stuff to start little in team competitions.
Sorry for the spelling Ironfist, I'm writing this on my break...
as for the pictures, I'll edit tonight and tomorrow, and photo bucket links will be posted by the end of the week. (as well as purchase information)

Actually, the rebels never whored medics up in the tower. For the most part, during our defense, it was just me and some sniper (whose name I never got). He and I just never got hit. In fact, we were almost never fired upon. All the while, the government team was whoring medics behind that long wood pile on the north east corner of the city. Kind of lame, if you ask me. I'm going to post my full review on MiA, hopefully later today. Well, either medics or they were cheating. I remember someone complaining that they shot a guy four separate times in a window and he kept getting back up. We assumed there were medics up there. This could have been a different building than you were in. Personally I never got close enough to the village in the first game to see any of this, I'm just going by what I heard.

i had a great time, but exhausted from all the running in that first game. the seals in the city made me work to heal guys, and the rebels flanking on the hill did the same. 87 heals total, 60 of which were from that first game. the MP-40 performed quite well too, only downside being that the 55 round mags pour out kinda fast. i can't wait to play there again.

PICTURES!!!!!!!!!! okay i have about 90 pictures up on my photobucket. thier in reverse choronlogical order if anyone cares. you're best of viewing it as a slide show by clicking the "view as slide show" button in the upper right corner. Once you see the picture of the cars thats the end. these are smaller versions so if someone wants a full size for like a wallpaper or something let me know. I'll be editing some of my favorites and posting them later in full size. s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa176/Xicutioner/OP%20Blood%20Dynasty/

are you printing it? right now the original is 2304 X 3456 Pixels which can be printed out 32 X 48 inches
this goes for all tall pictures for wide pictures it's reversed 3456 X 2304
I can size it down to desktop size or leave it.

You can leave it as is. I'm not going to print it, but I'm going to crop it severly and I'd like to keep it as large as possible without making it pixelated.

Great game, awesome turnout and the best group of people I've ever fought with. The last person to leave was Ben from WMI around 11:45-12:00...cool guy enjoyed meeting him. Also I've heard a few complaints about the price....I can only say(respectfully)....do some research....buy a few PALLETS of 4x4s...2x4s....2x6s....and of course plywood, and we'll see if you wanna get at least a little money back from it, Not to mention the MANY LONG HARD days of work that went into putting the giant puzzle together. But other than that...Great job photographers, thanks for getting shot up for good pics. And we're already planning our next event but we will make changes.....Sorry to say this OP was a big experiment to find out what works and what doesn't so we will be making changes to medic rules and other shifty elements. I really hope EVERYONE had a great time and I look forward to seeing all of you+ at our next game....will post up when cleared.

Ok, i didn't know that this game was funding the build of the city, thats totally reasonable for the price then. I haven't played there before at all, so i was under the impression that it had been built a while ago, and that it was only money to be used for the uptake, not the entire build. Good job on the build btw, turned out excellent.
I'd reccomend just browsing wherever you go for new items to add to the feild, as well as anywhere you can get free wooden pallets. I see them for free all the time down here, and i think that'd help to add some cheap new baracades surrounding the city. (though i do much prefer the natural wood baracades, from the cut down trees and such...)

No, no It's cool I knew what you guys were getting at but other people thought it was really pricy so I at least had to explain, I counted up about if not exactly 145 people came to blood Dynasty, Not including 3 from team Rammrod that showed up when it was over. We have already snagged a Confirmed Date for our next OP that day is....Sept. 2. so heads up everyone I think these games are going to be Bi-Monthly......uh, this time food will be free, my folks will order Pizza and have free water or whatever, and we'll be changing the medic system big time, and we're gonna go through the city and widen some windows, some of those damn 15"x15" present more face than chest....not cool. So yes we have a date and some new ideas in mind we just have a few milestones to change up and cover and we're good to go, look for it soon in schedualed games.

hey, as far as a medic system goes, i've seen it done afew good ways. the main 2 are either setting up a strict rule system for medics, and hoping they abide by it, or using some form of token system. In my experince, the token system has been effective. it relys less on truth with timeing and more on a thinking process by medics regarding who should be healed, who needs it, who's been waiting, and where they can get to safely. it also helps to put more of a timer on games with medics. By a process of trial and error, you can eventually figure out how many you'll need to give a medic for a predetermined (inexact) time.
btw, this is about 3 times more posts then i've ever made on one thread... and i've made three.
