Engagement Limits and Regulations

1.0 - 350.9 fps - Arms length engagement limit
351.0 - 410.9 fps - 20 foot engagement limit
411.0 - 550.9 fps – 50 foot engagement limit, bolt action or permanent* semi-auto replicas only
551.0+ fps - Prohibited or allowed with permission of event organizer only

i sorta miss futureball, but not enough to go out and buy a full mask

i have one of those paintball like masks that made for airsoft. it covers eyes, nose, ears and mouth but it leaves the cheeks more exposed to aim better. is that good enough?

I was thinking of going to this until I realized Michigan and Ohio State play eachother on this date. Maybe next time!

Full Paintball Masks Required (Full = Covering eyes, face, mouth, and nose)

I think cheeks = face in this case. What does common sense tell you. If in doubt, then no.

James at FB always said that they required hard plastic to cover our eyes, noses, mouth and ears. He said that we could cut material away from the cheek area so we could aim our rifles properly.

If I recall correctly, Futureball games used to be $15, what's up with the increase?

EDIT: Canuck, I just read your post - my seating group is Row 25, Section 25, some of the best seats in the Big House (if you're seated too low, you won't be able to catch any of the action) and I don't think I'd skip for a simple game of airsoft.

My seating is Row 1, my couch, in front of my 60" Sony flat panel. The best seat in my house. I don't think I would skip either, especially being the only Michigan fan surrounded by the Ohio State -We Don't Play Anyone- Buckeyes fans.

Just going to be some basic attack and defend/capture the flag type stuff for the first game, as it is just a test to see how many people we can get out to the field.
