Great to have El and great to have somebody write out a list of one of the teams, even if it probably isnt complete.

This is a relevant issue, should we have an ammunition limit?
I agree with Zorak from MiA there should be a BB limit, I kind of like the way TAC has it laid out for Safari Strike 2
Option 1 -> 680 round MAX limit in ANY configuration of standard magazines. (30,68,80 rounds each)
Option 2 -> 680 round MAX limit in ANY configuration of mid-cap magazines. (i.e. G&P 100,110,130,150 rounds each)
Option 3 -> 680 round MAX limit in ANY combination of a standard + mid-cap assortment.
Option 4 -> (1) – High-Capacity magazine. If you choose your load out to include a hi-cap magazine, you are only permitted to carry ONE. Your load out is then not to exceed a maximum of 600 rounds. Example, you use a MP5 hi-cap (200 rounds), you then can make up the difference in ANY combination of standards or mid-caps. If you own an AK and choose to use a hi-cap, you are already at the 600 round limit with just ONE hi-cap.
In addition, ALL players may carry on additional loose ammo and loading tools in the field. Loading tools may be manual or battery powered.
Note: Hi-caps must be manual winding ONLY. Drums, W-MAGS, and AUTO WINDERS* will NOT be permitted. * - ONLY Squad Automatics (as defined below) will be permitted to use an auto winding box.

i say we wait and see how the game starts to turn out before we enforce any rule liek this. The field is large, so i can see how we would waste a lot of ammo quickly, especially in such a large area.

And with so many people, there may not be time to reload as much. So, I think there should not be an ammo limit.

I also don't like the ammo limit. What if someone only has one mp5 Hi-cap. They shouldn'y be forced to have 400rds less becuase they cant afford or dont have alot of mid/lo caps.

I am all for ammo limits, just not those. I agree with Uberhamster here, we do have to consider the budget player who has two or three hicaps instead of a bunch of standards. I would like to see a slightly modified version of that, and that is that people with hicaps can have ~600 rounds in their hicaps regardless of what kind they have. That would allow for 3 mp5 hicaps or 2 m4 hicaps. Remember, you can carry bags of bbs and loading tools on you, so you can dump more ammo into your mags. This just allows you to sustain yourself in a firefight long enough for you to get to a safe place to reload your hicap.
I'm also for ammo limits to keep the paintsofting to a minimum. If we're going to have some GK guys there, I'd really like to make a good impression on them, both with our organization abilities and our playing style. If they come out and everybody is hosing everything, I don't think they'd want to come to another one. I know that I wouldn't.
And one final point about ammo limits, this is going to be continuous play, so it can't possibly be a continuous firefight. If you engage another team, one of the teams is going to have to retreat or regroup or something. An ammo limit is going to be a means to encourage that. When people start to run dry, they're going to have to pull back.

So if RA can't wear U.S. Woodland or MARPAT, what should we wear? Could someone provide a link or example? Anything else as long as it fits the reqs posted by EL. You could, for example, wear tiger strip, 6 or 3 color desert, flacktarn, the list goes on. As far as the ammo limit goes, I could go for one, but probably not Zorak's. El, Damo and I will probably need to discuss this in the near future.

I would like to see the RA avoid MARPAT for 2 reasons. 1 MEU will be all MARPAT. I want to avoid confusion. 2 the RA is an irregular or guerrilla army, so lets look like one. I'm either wearing Woodland pants and dark blue sweatshirt, or black BDU pants and woodland shirt. Not sure which. As for ammo limits, Id say the 680 is a good limit. However, Id say simplify it to 680 in any combination of magazines. SO anyone using an AK, you have 1 hi-cap @600, and 1 standard @78 for an "OH SHIT, RETREAT!" mag

I could go for this limit, but what you are saying isnt really a bb limit, since you can carry loose bbs. It is more of a magazine limit. Personally, I'm all for it.

I'm definitely for a limit too. It will definitely stop all the sprayers, which i hate.

Well, seeing as how i will have a pistol, I think the Mag limint sounds great.
Less BBs in my direction.

I would have to say no to carrying loose BB's I could carry an empty 20oz bottle full of BB's, re-filling my G3's 500rnd Hi-Cap whenever. With a fire-team around me, providing cover fire while I re-fill, I can continue to send BB's downrange for a VERY long time. I would have to say re-fill your mags ONLY form the re-spawn point or another designated re-load point (if we designate one)
