The only thing i would like it to do, is show people what were about... were not violent people, were simply teenage- pre middle age guys that go out and pretend were part of something important.
The thing with airsoft, there is no #1 team and there is no organized leagues. But if this were to hapen, the only thing i ask for, is that Safety is at its highest and that were not immature kids looking to shoot something up.

I bet John Lu could spring it. Get into contact with him. I've already contacted the PR department for the Silverdome about this via email, still waiting on a reply.

Vmax, my point if you saw it or not, was I think if people see a real airsoft match, they would be more shocked on how the game works and looks like a real combat simulation, and right we do use real projectiles. I think it would put a negative affect on airsoft more then a positive.

I dont see how it would give us a MORE negative image, If we show people we are like it was said earlier not just some kids shooting things and we actually simulate military and police situations they might come to thier sences and stop fighting airsoft

If the 'dome doesn't work out, try Tiger Stadium before they tear it down. If you maybe got police or military to somehow participate then it might help towards removing the negative stigma. Donate money to the families of fallen officers or something.

I dont think they would want people with any sort of guns in the area, also for a big event like that it would be nice to have perfect weather the dome would provide that, I like the idea of getting police involved that might help. Can somebody find out a relative price to rent out the buiding?

"I dont think they would want people with any sort of guns in the area" I think they would have bigger problems to worry about than some guys with airsoft replicas in an abandoned stadium, or did you plan on running up and down Mich Ave. with your AEG at the ready?

I think he's talking about using the stadium in an official capacity.
