OK, so now that I talked to Shadow, if I understand correctly, we can charge, but not make a profit... is that correct? if so, we can keep track of expenses and spend everything on the event and props, anything left over (not likely to be much) we can donate to what ever worthy cause... I would recommend using a paypal account to take payment, then we can simply submit receipts to show expenditure and recoup our expenses from that. We need to obtain lots more lumber, fuel for generators, MREs, ammo, and most importantly insurance to cover the hosts and property owners.
For the structures we need about $800
We need 8 gallons of fuel and cans to hold it. figure gas cans cost $20 -$30 each plus around $2.50 per gallon of fuel.
We need MREs for the players to eat (3 each) $7 x 3 = $21 $21 per player
we need costumes unless our role players have their own.
We need the aluminum pie-plates for marking hits... we need lots of these... something around 200 I think would be a good safe number.
We need three bags of .28 ammo, three bags of .2 ammo and one bag of .4 (very limited need)
Airsoft insurance remains the big issue...we need to get quotes.... we need them very damn soon.
We need various prop items...empty gas cans that can be filled with water, suticase type first aid boxes, large ammo boxes (30mm cans), etc....
We need a comprehensive waiver typed out and submitted to shadow to take to his folks for them to approve.
Ok guys, this is what we need. This list is not even close to complete, but it's a start, lets see what we can do to make it happen.

Costumes- I have an old lady mask that looks like a zombie if someone wants to use it. (also have a whig). I have a gas can or two you can use... ummmm...what else...? OH! I may have a first aid box in the basement (great place for it).

What about all my haunted house costumes from The Haunted Winery? I got crap loads of them. As long as they come back in decent shape I see no problem. I also got tons of steel sheet metal (from my barn we are tearing down). My parents would like to get some money for it though. These are nice pieces of metal and will work great for structures. They are all in great shape too.

The thing about steel... I think, Is that its hard to work with. The costumes would be sick nasty! Some of them are so scary. (Bogger crys)

I can lend about four 5 gallon gas tanks, some costume materials, and a shit-ton of props. As far as other costume stuff goes, I was thinking some old pants and shirts from goodwill trashed and beaten with some dirt rubbed it would be an easy fix. A a little make-up and Bam! Insta-Zombie.
If you guys have more complex ideas then let me know where assistance is needed. I also have a full time job now and can pitch in when anyone wants to add some walls.

Well, today I announced that I am taking leave from Semia and MIA, The Zombie Squad is also officially taking leave from both associations. We have been experienceing sabotage from certain mods who are not allowing us to post our events in favor of aloowing others to post their events and promote use of their new fields. I am not going to have this event end up sabotaged as well. ZS team members are of course allowed and encouraged to continue to enjoy both, but the team will not officially be participating or endorsing either site until the Mod abuse ceases. I have stated my case and I am awaiting action and reply by the admins on both sites. I must also say that I was saddened by this incident which to me represents a betrayal by those I consider to be friends.
EL phantasamo, I would like to talk to you personally about how to orchestrate this event as it is your baby and I want to make it happen, I will work with you, but I am not going to rely on Semia or MIA, my contact info is listed on my teams board under the contact info thread. Please PM me if you need my number.
Bogger, change your name back and save those boxes, we can use them.

Redknight,
1) The zombie game concept was not my idea. I have just been an active supporter of the concept from the beginning.
2) I am a global mod, not an admin. I can not view your private team area without a password. PM me with contact info.
