The thought of El in an aircraft makes me shiver..... Now back to something not as scary, Zombies! I want to push this event through! We need around $700 - $800 worth of supplies, plus commitments from role players and participants alike. I would like to have someone start taking donations to help defray the cost of all the stuff we have to get. I have some stuff I plan on donating, and a fair amount of stuff I plan on loaning out for the event. El phantasamo or SKypilot, Can one of you receive payments via paypal or someother electronic venue? We really need to start getting this thing going! It will be so disappointing if we don't get this event ready and rolling before the end of the summer. I think that if we charge $10 - $20 per person playing, we will have plenty of cash raised in no time. I think if we can get some cash up front, we can make this thing happen sooner than later so now we need to just get someone to "bankroll" us for the time being until people start signing up. I really really want to give something to the roleplayers like a bracelet or tshirt as a thank-you, can anyone help me find something decent? how about a few possible ideas? I found a source of pie plates, they are not free, but they are cheap. zombie clothing is going to be easy...lets take some of El's flannel shirts and shred them... When I talked to him, Canto had mentioned having his team play as roleplayers and zombies. I want to see if we can still do that, can someone contact Canto and ask him?

Due to the Paypal TOS, I need to have a date and location first before we start accepting paypal payments.

hmmm, fair enough. I am mainly looking for someone that is reliable and trustworthy to collect the cash.
We will need to pick a date sooner than later.
The location is simple, Shadow has a ranch with some serious acreage available, we should chat privately about that.
We will need to save receipts for everything and keep track of mileage so we can justify our expenses and be reimbursed for everything. The main issue is that there can be noprofit generated by the hosts. I was thinking that we could spend anything lefft over on stuff to give away to the volunteer Zombies who will end up being bullet sponges during this thing. I was also thinking that Skypilot could find a worthy cause for any remaining cash to be donated to, we can get a receipt from any reputable charity organization.

Lol I know this is the least thing you probably care about, but do you want flyers and stuff? Check out that whole sale guy. Maybe he can work Out a deal for the volunteers.

With regrets, I will likely not be able to host the Zombie game now or ever. The arguments with members of Deathcompany created a disasterous rift that has fractured the ZS team, I have lost any support from Canto and his team and I have personally resigned from the ZS team myself since I appear to be at the center of the problem. Sorry El and the rest of you guys hoping for this event, I have nothing left to work with. I will happily support anyone's initiative for hosting this event, but I no longer have a team or any support now.
EDIT: We're back !

Bogger, I posted my resignation on the team board, it's moot, it's done. The issue here is that I do not have the manpower or resources for this event without a team. We have made some serious headway with planning, but now it will most likely start from scratch with the next team if I can't get it going somehow. If I could count on support from team alamo, I think could get this together, but it's not my team anymore. Ask and let me know, ok Bogger?

New developments have put me back on track to planning a Zombie themed game here on the East side of the state. I have access to 80 or 90 acres of land, mostly lightly wooded with lots of bushes and tall grass. I have rescripted the event to be slightly different than originally planned, but I will still need a few volunteers and someone who can help manage the money (this should be someone well established in the airsoft community). Hopefully we can keep the drama levels down and get the event going sometime this fall. For now, I am looking for volunteers to help set up and experienced players who want to help host and run the event.

I am still working on this event and I am welcoming assistance and input from experienced event coordinators. At present I am thinking about hosting the event at a few different locations and I was even considering obtaining permission to use a derilict building in Detroit.... Think of the Movie QUarantine for a disturbing mental image I also need someone who is willing to manage the financial end of this whole thing. EDIT: sorry for the double-necro post, I want to keep this thread alive and maintain or revive interest in this event and I have actually made some progress towards that goal which I don't want to see lost.

Alright I say its squads of how ever many. Ill be the main guy they have to save. Ill hold off zombies in a room for as long as it takes. First squad to save me from the zombies attacking me gets to go on to the next challenge. Which could be like OMg I forgot my dog take me to get it now (so they do). The other squads have other objectives. I guess im just saying that it needs to be an objective game. I just wanna be a character.

Kyle please fix everything you just posted before a mod kills you and eats your soul. I can't afford to have my Bogger banned right now!
I assume you are talking about having small objectives in an indoor game. I am still thining on the macro scale and I want to have an outdoor game ifpossible or if it is indoor, I want it to be huge. Think of the scale that No-Vacancy would have been, that's the size of building I want to use.
