Hell yeah lets do this, I've got a couple of pistols to use, and we could use springers if we had to. Because the zombies aren't very fast, and you could shot a springer pretty fast if you wanted to. Besides every one could afford 20 bucks for a springer if they dont already have a pistol(which is kinda stupid anyway, how can you play airsoft without a side arm). Srt this up administrators!!!!

Most of us have gas pistols already. some of us have several (COUGH Kneif COUGH).
If you want to buy a springer just for this game, go for it.
If you want my advice, save your money and get a good AEG first.

Its not up to the administrators of SEMiA to get this game going.
That is up to Grey Fox and Mongoose.
they have been working hard on their MOUT facility. I am certain they will have games as soon as its ready. Building materials aren't cheap, so they are paying for all of this out of their own pockets right now.

Be patient, the games these guys host is well worth the wait

OK EL, I've got you're MOUT/firehall built and it's actually pretty sweet theres plenty of room in the engine bays to put stuff like carts, racks, tires, steel drumbs, and tables if you wanted to make it CQB, or we could always make you a long range wrench. there is an up-stairs but there are no STAIRS to get up there only a ladder and a pole to slide down so now it's on to the police station!

Thanks for understanding our delay problems EL, all of this not only comes out of our pockets but it takes a lot of time and HARD work to build especially the muddy shit-hole we have to build in but we do our best to make challenging but safe CQB enviroments, I hope it won't be too much longer till we get this rolling! I can garauntee this will be good, Thanks for the compliment EL!

i only have one thing to say.
i have known gray fox for a while and i do pitch in on wood for building as often as i can.
and if people are geting impationt about playing there then they need to find a way to hand over some ply wood. that would make things go a lot faster

OK! I'm pretty sure I've got the go-ahead for this OP so I'm going to shoot for around three or four weeks from now and set a price at about $20.00 - $25.00 it's a little high but we need building supplies and we are desperate, we'll most likely have food and pop there and may sell BBs and gas for a decent price $12.00 a can or $15.00 a 4000rnd bag of .20g and I greatly encourage people to get gas pistols if you don't already have them and all personel volunteering for the zombie team to wear a beleclava or paintball mask and show up early so you can decorate the city.... we will send you through with a shit-load of fake blood & limbs so you can give it the works!!! I will have more info very shortly...please be patient we're fighting hell to get this up and running!!!

I hope you realize that it will be the last week of november in a month, and it's likely to be too cold for gas guns to work. I just wanted to put that out there to make sure you were aware. It might be a good idea for people to get shotguns and such.

Yeah that is a problem so we may just have a WW II OP instead and delay the zombie game till spring or something, not really sure what to do!

If you have to hit a zombie in the head to kill him, I (and I suspect a lot of other people) won't be attending this game. Mongoose and I have already talked about how unsafe that is, and he assured me that zombies will be killable by some number of body shots, rather than one headshot.

I agree, head shots are in no way fun, safe or honerable. If this were to go down I would not allow head shots in the game... even if the zombie team chose to wear paintball masks or goggles w/ beleclava.... it's still an asshole thing to do to someone! Good news on the side:
7/16 sheets of plywood went on sale for $5.64 a sheet, so there will be massive construction efforts made to build as much as possible before this thing goes down!

i think that is much better i know i dont like head shots at all and would be mad as hell if i got shot in the head. and besides in the resident evil game for ps1 you had to like soot them like 15 or 20 times in the boddy anyway and would be much safer for thoughs that want to be zombies

I put together a bad-ass zombie uniform last night, it's pretty decent but requires more work to put it on than it would be to genetically make our own zombies, it has tubes for blood spurts and realistic gunshot and shrapnel wounds but it's a bitch getting the thing on and looking good not to mention attempting a game in it.....though supose it'd be worth it to scare the shit out of some un-suspecting noobs during a zombie war!

Guys, this isn't your event to plan. Grey Fox and Mongoose are running the show. If they wanted all of the humans to be armed, they would arm them. This isn't some kiddie game where people are toting springers.
