Wow! I'd be down for this! Heck, i'll make the 8' StarGate Ring too. Sniper rifles would have to modified into staff weapons. The SG1 Team would have to run with P90's. One problem, due to copyright laws. We would have to name it something like... Operation: Toliet Bowl Ring or Operation: Down the Crapper Btw, Can we have a SciFi Airsoft Friday? SG1, Atlantis, BSG - Airsoft sytle?

You're a good man skypilot! but we can buy those rings they are like 10 inches thick and the sides are 12-14 inches thick and they're about anywhere from 6-8 feet in diameter, the trickey part is the price and the transport!
We could always name this OP how the Rangers would........................Operation:Ride the Shithole

You could have one or two people on the Goauld team be System Lords and give them special "powers": carry a personal shield, a number of instant respawns until they have to heal in a sarcophagus. Or Ori, could be able to initiate a 'plague' to people within a certain distance...stuff like that. There are the Super Soldiers too!

gray fox. that would be cool if all the jaffa' and goa'uld had matching uniforms. but i think they could have gray for the jaffa' and maybe tan for goa'uld that way we know who is who. or they all have gray and make it harder on us to tell the differance. oh man im loving this. you all seem so into this. maybe we could get this off the ground sooner than i thought. keep it up guys the more input i get the faster this will hapen.

Yeah, maybe we can have one invulnerable supersoldier who dies after 15 minutes of play... We definitely need Horus guards. With the ridiculous headpieces. As for rules... staff weapons have a low rate of fire and poor accuracy, but on the show it doesn't look like any of the SG teams carry much extra ammo - I don't know if the standard omega tac vests used on Atlantis can hold P90 ammo, maybe the EOD vests on SG-1 can (though SG-1 was using the EOD vests before switching over to the P90 and had MP5's with two clamped magazines beforehand). What we really ought to do... is get Stargate fans beyond SEMIA involved. I'm sure there are people who go to conventions with their goa'uld hand devices and whatnot, we should spread the word and see who else would be interested in this.

hey yeah i never thought of that! maybe we could get some that want to be jaffa' or sgc units. and yeah the guards would ge kick ass. what if we made the staf wepons out of m203 shels and like pvc pipes the rate of fire would be very low seeing as how they woudl have to load each shot . they would be more accuate due to the longer barel and we costomise the pipes to look like staf wepons would be esyer then using aeg's

you could use a fireing pin of some king at the end of the tube, and it would be kind of cool to see a 5 foot staf wepon.

I wonder if you could make some sort of staff weapon shell that a pump shotgun would fit in, or put the firing mechanics of a shotty into a tube. That would increase the realism over loading shells for every shot.

Now what I think we need to do, is stick with the tube idea but....use a pistol instead. realistically you're not going to get an AEG or Shotgun mechanism into a pipe unless you used like a G&G M-14 type of gearbox and barrel set up and had the tools to do it, but that also becomes a problem on where to fit the mag! My thought was to cut a slot in the side of a tube and stick one of those non-blowback Co2 Firepower pistols inside it and hold it in using pinns through the pipe, this way you could fire as fast as you want and reloading would be a breeze. Not only that it's do-able, easy and cheap! Now hang on!, Most of you are probly saying "OH, Yeah right a pistol vs AEG no contest"....True this is fact that is all the more reason to go with the TV shows idea.... stacking the odds. If we have 3 SG teams with about 4-6 troops per team using low-caps and like 50-70 Jaffa'/Goa' uld, we'd be golden!

that would work for me. and as for my idea, i was just talking about buting the hole gun inside the tube. but thinking about it it would look like your law tube you made with a usp pistol grip. witch i can handle.
