this is true. costumes are coming along good. but the staff wepons are not . every one is going to have to use an aeg or what ever they have to use.
property is good were just waiting to conferm the date.

We also need one of those big 6' to 8' concrete rings to act as the entrance/ exit for the SGC spawn point, having trouble getting a hive ship built too.......that WAS a joke.

Sky-pilot aka world class genius, thinks we should make one, I still have some 1/4" strips of plywood left over that we could use for forms, and cement mix is fairly cheap....maybe he's got the right idea, making one on-site would also save us transport cost/risks.

that would be a good way to do it. ply wood with cement mix spred over it.. i like that.

But it'd still be a bitch to transport, we're talkin hundreds maybe thousands of pounds here, I think, we need to carefully consider this a little more, perhaps built a form for it and fill the damn thing full of great stuff foam? this needs more thought.

Why make it out of concrete? How bout some 1/4 ply on a wooden frame, and a nice layer of paint? thats more or less how the ones on the sets are made, if their not C G.

i didnt think about that ether. but i do have mix at my mothers property i can use on the gate all i have to do is call and ask for it. it just seamed simple. but i like that every one is thinking. keep it up guys. the more input the better and faster this game will happen.

Make the core of the ring from styro-foam and line it with fiberglass. Very strong without the weight of wood or cement.

I can see it know, a Stargate Ring being transported down the road on a flatbed truck. Just becareful of all the Stargate-trekies following you home. Then again, use them as slaves and have them move the stargate. ..Anything for the Jar-Fa.
