Folks, I'm looking into hosting a 12 and 24 hour Op. Before continuing any further, I would need to know if there would be any interest in a game like this?
The game would be continous, non-stop action. Players will need to leave the field for food, sleep, etc. Cordination with your team mates become crutical.
A game like this requires much planning and prep work which involves many in-game props. In order for the game to be a success, I would need to know how many people would be willing to pre-pay for an event like this?
I can not give costs at this time, just need to know if people would be willing to pre-pay for something like this.

I would love to go to a game like this, I'd love 24 hours of play
Heck I'd even make a paypal account just to prepay for.

We all want to SAY that we would play for 12 or 24 hours, but when the time actually comes to play for that long of a time, I'm pretty sure most would be tired after the first 10 hours of play. But since I am a hypocrite I would be down for this anyway.

I could do 12 for sure and I would pre-pay. I'm limited to Saturdays though.

I did the 2 day event out in bangor. Which just happened to be the day after prom, and there was a 3 hour drive which we left for at 6:30 am. And my friend and I had no problem playing the entire time.
ps. I would do the 24 if you guys had one.

I'd be more likely to play the 12 hours rather than 24. I'd also have no problem prepaying if the price is reasonable.
I'm with Gbiscuit though, I'd probably end up tired before 12 hours is up, but it'd be one hell of a time anyway.

if its inexpensive i along with a few others i play with would be in, however you would need to accomadate for battery chargings, loading mags, ect. if you want the game to continuosly last for hours.

From the brainstorming sessions SkyPilot and I had, it's non stop play for 12 hours. you can leave food and BB's at your respawn point. You can reload and eat there. I strongly suggest you carry a spare battery for your AEG, and at least 1 quart of water. I never thought about charging batteries in the field. Ill look into some deep cycle marine or heavy duty truck batteries to leave at the spawn points for chargers. It seems unlikely we will have enough extension cords for chargers
