No, it would be everybody who has the password for the SEMIAUTO forum. The list is:
Mitch DamoDK Elphantashmo SuperSix JackB Murdoc King BSniper Gunmen FireFox And Myself
These are the people who asked to join the team in the "Team" thread. Andrew, you're on another team already right? You don't need to be a part of SEMIAUTO to play at SEMIA events. SEMIA is still just set up to provide a connection point for players in south eastern michigan. SEMIAUTO is forming among the players who don't have a team already and want to be a part of one.
The funny thing is, I've only talked to one of these guys on the phone and another online. We need to actually get together, even if we don't play, just to meet everybody.

Damo is on DownKaliber, he spoke with me about joining SEMIAUTO
Seems more logical to be more of a Club than a team, work on clearing feilds, hosting events, setting up and such, while still maintaining private teams.
I dont mean to speak for Jeff, but as I understand he is still in DK as well am I, but he joined SEMIAUTO because DownKaliber is sort of dormant as is... we dont have a field, a good amount of our members are in college, and about 3 quit airsoft...
If it meant I got to play airsoft more and wear another patch on my shoulder I'd happily join SEMIAUTO, but I can't just drop DownKaliber, as the members have a drive to play, just not the time nor the resources
Im thinking along the lines of ACO and Geist Kompanie, GK is within ACO, yet the members of ACO that aren't on a team consider ACO their team, anyway... long story short, Is it permissable to be in SEMIAUTO and another team at the same time?

I think SEMIAUTO should just be the people who want are willing to help out to keep SEMIA running smoothly. I'm sure most people in SEMIAUTO, including myself, are willing to help out with anything from calling people to maintaining fields. I'm sure this wouldn't be all SEMIAUTO would be, it could also be a team but I think it would be good to get a group of people who are able to be called on and be reliable to help out with things that require multiple people to work on.

OK well heres the deal, I just talked to Knief and from what I interpreted, We will allow people to be on a team other than SEMIAUTO. I'm going to define it for you guys
SEMIA - Community of players, was originally designed as a database for people to contact others
SEMIAUTO - Made out of a group of players who want to take SEMIA a little more serious and are willing to go that extra step. As far as tactics, field work, organizing and other misc. jobs.

Well I haven't had the time to run through the WHOLE forum. I have been picking the most interesting topics, and looking through them. Me and a teammate have been looking into making an "Airsoft Bomb", like Knief's or the other person's (Murdoc, or DamoDK's, not sure) bomb. We are going to do it like that guy on Airsoft Players did, except alot cleaner. And there are two boms, one in a portable briefcase, and another in a safe lock system. Anyways, I would participate and would like to be in SEMIAUTO and help out if my help was needed. If I could keep inside my team as well, that would be awesome. The ACO and GK thing is what I think would work, two patches (One for SEMIAUTO and other for TMTA) I could grow used to .

You guys realize that GK isn't affiliated with ACO at all except that they play together regularly and ACO lets GK use their arena to host events provided the utilities are paid for. GK isn't a division or an off shoot of ACO as SEMIAUTO is of SEMIA.

Well I had interpreted SEMIA as being a sort of organized way of creating more usual games in the area of South Eastern Michigan, open to all who wish to come.
And SEMIAUTO as being a tight-knit group of players within SEMIA who will may be seen as a MilSim-ish team that may attend larger OPs in the future, or be the organizers of SEMIA OPs.
Other than that, I'm glad to help out in anyway possible, and I also agree that a meeting needs to be scheduled for members of SEMIAUTO so we can get to know eachother and whatnot. Perhaps someone's house who is in the center, or even a Pizza Hut somewhere that we can just meet and eat and talk airsoft.
Jack.

Everyone thats posted seems pretty dedicated, and I really feel that their idea of this is going in the right direction. If we did have frequent meetings other than to play airsoft, we might want to consider the smaller squads as put into another post though, because a two hour drive to pizza hut doesn't seem feasible.

If we had smaller squads then only the squad leaders would need to meet or comunicate and then pass the info down to thier own squad.
We wouldn't need large scale get togeathers just for meetings but for practices and games.

Yea but what happens when your TL gets one in the chest by a sniper (possibly King or Jack) then what he can't talk hes dead, and you are pinned down with no way to communicate and get intel on the snipers location
