When she went to Florida to see her aunt, her cousin got her hooked on HALO. as soon as she came home, she bought an xbox. She got me Ghost Recon 2 so I wouldnt complain

Thats why I'd prefer the PS3 over the XBox360: MGS4: Guns of the Patriots. (You get to play as Old Man Snake ;D.)

mmm... in regards to the PS3 and MGS, after playing "Snake Eater" I can say that I'm not such a big fan of the MGS series, the controls feel clunky and I didn't like the story.
With games I am looking forward to, John Woo's Stranglehold could be cool, I'm a fan of his Hong Kong works starring Chow Yun-fat and this game is the followup to Hard Boiled, it'll be released for both platforms (xbox 360 and ps3).

talks of bungie makeing a halo versuon for ps3 due the the fact they have more to work with and can make a better game.
i just played the 360 and wow i wasent impressed for how big it is it should come close to my pc or be better and it was no whare near as good as my pc.
ps wifi adapter is $99.99 for the 360 the ps3 gives you a gigabit router and 802.11g router inone so you can game wirelessly or use your ps3 as a wifi router. its safe to say the xbox 360 just got pw0n3d by the ps3

I heard that Bungie was in talks(6mo. ago) to make a ps3 game, but most certainly not halo... I'm quite sure MS has a contract of some sort keeping that in their court.
As for 360 performance, wait until next xmas to see what that thing can actually do. The better the system, the longer it takes to develop for. not to mention the nuances and hangups associated with any hardware to work through. Right now, all you're getting is xbox games in 720p.

true but by that time the ps3 will have the 360 by the balls and be stoping there azz in sales like the ps2 is doing to the xbox now lmfao.
its gonna be a halo branch off from what im told. you know how companys will make one game then they would make the same game with somthing at the end of the title and new things. thats what it will be like. the reason is they wanna push into the ps3 market and take it away from killzone and from the looks its gonna be hard but then they can controle that type of game on bolth platforms.
fact is microsoft dosent respect gamers look at how much stuff coust for the 360 and how striped down the cheeper version is. sony knows they they need to take care of games and after the ps3 comes out your gonna find alot of people selling the 360 to get a ps3.
360 dident have a good lauch all the games suck the ps3 will have a much better launch but im hopeing nintendio will get there revalution out first so they can get there peace of the pie because sony has there ps3 as good as sold. from a devlopers point of view there gonna swing for the ps3 since they have more freedom on that game but alot of the smaller devlopers will stick with them.
to mean a system is 50% company 50% hardware. meaning the company and its actions is what sells a systems just as much as its hardware and games do. the phantom looks promiseing but i havent read anything about it in a while so i wounder if that will still be comeing out.

I have to agree, all the hype in the world isn't helping the bad rap MS is getting right now. Poor initial launch games, shortage conspiracies, a worthless "low-end" model, ect... Right now, I'm seeing alot of grumbling about the above listed anti-MS rants. They've hurt themselves with they're assinine approach to a release(real or perceived). If people don't like the seller, they'll wait for the ps3.
ha ha! phantom... I'm still not sure if I should take that one seriously. Between MS and sony, there really isn't room for anyone else. As expensive as these suckers have gotten, most can't afford both next gen systems as it is, how many are going to be able to take the risk on a third? note: nintendo doesn't count, they have the modest price, family/kids market covered. They can try to break out, I doubt they will, but there is always a place for them in the console world.

Bungie is basically owned by Microsoft, there is no way.
