Don't even get me started on hockey. I am surprised I am one of the only Canucks fans around here. Vancouver has a defenseman (Bieksa) from Bowling Green, center (Morrison) from Michigan, and winger (Kesler) from Ohio State.
Oh, an old joke...who said it?
Went to a fight and a hockey game broke out!
(I know the answer)

Don Cherry would say that it was some pussy european who was afraid of real hockey.
Despite Morrison's draw for UofM hockey fans (I was at his National Championship game in Cinncinati), we were all rather pissed when Kesler chose Ohio State over Michigan, so the Canucks lost a bit of their audience there. And nobody cares about Bowling Green. They're last in the CCHA with a 2-10-0 record.
I should mention that I'm a pretty big college hockey (and specifically, CCHA) fan.

Despite their record this year, they are still considered a top hockey school.
