They didn't just say that. MP is a job everybody and their mom wants. On top of that, you can only have minimal law violations. You also may have not been qualified for it.

And too many retards, there are just as many douchebags in the Airforce. And the Navy, and the Marine Corps. It's branch wide my friend, not just the Army. It's a different breed in each Branch, and each field. If you thought Engineers are a bunch of assclowns, you need a taste of active duty infantry my friend.

well my backround was and is spotless, and my score on the asvab was an 89.

i dont know y they said it but thats what they said. they said if i waited a few months(im assuming they meant the next training cycle) i could get in but i did'nt want to wait.
