Hey guys, this isn't something i typically do, however once i learned about this Bill, I became very upset and want to do something about it.
I know it's not airsoft related, however it effects thing I love very much and more that you might relize in everyday life.
The Michigan House Bill 6075 restricts the small independent working person from offering his/her services at an airport without the airport managers approval. Giving the Fixed Based Operator (FBO) a monopoly on the airport, and allowing them to charge excessive amount of money for a repair. It would be like a Pizza delivery person having to obtain permission from every township he drives through, just to deliver pizza's.
This will drive the cost of shipping and travel way up! Everything from FedEx shippments to Commerical Airlines and everything inbetween, because there won't be as many pilots learning to fly due to the high cost controled by the FBO's. And when someone is in high demand, they get a high salary. And everything else goes up with it.
Anyhow, please read the house bill (below) if you agree with me, please call the State of Michigan at 517.373.3400 and reference house bill 6075.
thanks,
