Please clarify what sort of speak you're talking about. There's a very large difference between LEET speak and internet slang.

I.E. Leet Speak: 1337 5P34|<

and Internet slang is like: Lol, like wtf man, it's teh internets.

Although, every now and then it makes my inner nerd happy. My friend's younger brother graduated from high school this year, and his open house was this saturday. I attended for the free cake. This kid is in the Robotics club at Pioneer, so his friends are a bunch of math and science nerds. When I pulled up, I parked behind his friends car, which had the license plate, "5AMUR41." I have to say, I was impressed that he went that far in that custom plate.

But that's no excuse to start typing like that on SEMIA. *glares*

i dont mind in until i cant understand it. the small thinks like lol, j/k, wtf, rofl, and the small stuff is fine with me. when you get entire sentences though, it gets out of hand. the only thing that bothers me is when people dont use proper punctuation so i have to re-read what they write and add my own so it makes sense.
