COD4

Does anyone know if its possible for me to configure and use a controller for playing COD 4 for the PC ??

It's possible, but why would you want to? Mouse + Keyboard = Much better.

Im used to Xbox 360 that why...I am getting used to the mouse and keyboard but I feel much more comfortable with the controller

Psycosis said it. But honestly, you won't do good for shit online, I can run in a room and ice about 5 people with my mouse and keyboard before you could even turn that joystick around and accurately have it on me.

its USB2, so it should. but as mosin asked, why? keyboard/mouse users are gonna hose you each and every time. you could have the P90, and i could have the R700, and i'd still own you.

I know that but there is no controller setting within the COD4 menu and unless the 360 controller has some sort of built in software that configures itself to COD4 controls it might not work....I'll try it and see

You're right you probably would own me on a PC. But on a 360...lol you wouldn't have a chance

Xbox controller didnt work...whatever Im used to the keyboard now. I think the problem was my crappy connection. I have 3x as much PING as the other guys in the room so by the time I see them I was already dead. Im used to the anticipation now.

We should get a SEMIA Server/Room going, That would be kind of fun.

Do you have XP or Vista? It's plug and play with Vista, not so sure with XP.

I play starwars bf 2 and a few other fps with my 369 controller, I will certify that they work and work well and I prefer it over the key board mouse combo even if I can't fly around head shoting people.

So youre saying that the 360 controller does work with COD4 if you have windows vista??? Thats cool.

I like the keyboard now....although I'll always like and miss my Xbox 360
