(not being a jerk or anything but) not all Germans were Nazi's. Nazism was a political group and which was enforced on many Germans. some or most Germans were threatened along with their family's and friends if they didn't join. they did what they had to do as we did and any other country. now if any one has a problem talk about it off this board. because its not fare to people who don't want to hear it.
(sorry not trying to be a jerk)

Original Gangster, you're completely arrogant for hating Germans for events that took place 60 years ago that only a sliver of the German population was responsible for.
Lacrosse4life if your goal was too look like a complete embarassment to your heritage, you accomplished it with that "Sieg heil"
Gestapo, quit puffing Germany's penis and jumping on every opportunity to use German you find, not only is it annoying, it's againts the rules (I used to do it too. I've learned)
/Headache induced rant
If this ever got big, I'd definitely be in posession of a Marushin M1 Carbine to go along with my real steel. Cool MP40 too. This could make for some cool scenarios. I'm daydreaming of shoving TNT into 88s while donning a foliage stuffed helmet and bandolier of magazines.

The M2 was the Vietnam (maybe Korea too) era version, they came standard issue with a 30 round mag and fully automatic capability. But yeah, Marushin makes both.

Just a comment, but people who like Germany WW2 are pretty dumb. It's okay to think their guns/tanks/equipment were cool but any suggestion that their ideology made sense and I'll ban you, no questions asked. This is going to become a flamewar, I can tell. Also Matt, I guess you forgot you're Polish heritage mean anythingI'll leave this topic open for about another hour then it's being closed

Well said, D. I agree with your statement. I know The Orginal Gangster in real life, and the only reason why he made that comment, is because he is Jewish. That still does NOT make it acceptable, and I completely agree with locking this thread.
Gangster really should have learned about that last year during school, because that's what English 8 is really about.
Back on topic, Do the Marushin 8mms have a full auto capability on them? I seriously doubt they did, but if they do, then that would stop me from buying one. Realism is the key here.

M1 carbine does not, the M2 carbine, like the real steel, does.
Edit: I'm jewish too, but thats still no excuse.

According to wikipedia, the M2 was introduced to the army in 1942, so it was definitley used in WW2

Wikipedia tells me the M2 was introduced in early 1945, it was the M1 that was introduced in 42. By 1945, the M1 was the most mass produced weapon of the war, so I'm sure the M2 saw little action until Korea.

On second thought, I'll leave this open so long it's restricted to gun talking only.

I think that you have to use a kit to make the marushin 8mm m1 shot semiauto. I read that you have to cycle it each time.
MP-40 Combat Review!!!!
The gun performed beyond my expectations. It's mostly steel construction made it kind of a burden to carry, hence why I laid it down and ran around unarmed as a medic for most of that first game. Considering that the barrel is approximately 10/11in. in length, the range was not all that bad. Warning: the stock is not super durable, and it kinda wobbles a bit, but its mostly a formality, because there is no recoil to combat, and most german soldiers just sprayed with it at close ranges. (as that was kinda what it was designed to do) Mag capacity is 55 rounds, and full auto will cycle through that very quickly, but the mags aren't that expensive, so i would suggest getting more. There is no real "safety" on the gun. You can turn the fire selector about halfway between full and semi to make it "safe", but a slight jerk of the gun will knock it back to one of the two. The other alternative is the battery switch on the bottom of the pistol grip. It is much harder to switch that on and off, so use that for your safety. It will fit a 9.6v mini, and I suggest you get one, and a different charger. The Chinese ones that come with the gun are a bit unruly. Shooting from outside the city to the city was difficult because of the fact that the gunners upstairs wouldn't let us get close enough for me to have a good shot. Once in the city, though, the compact size and close range accuracy made it worth the buy. for a low cost of somewhere around $145-$150 for the gun, and about $12 per mag, it is well worth playing with.
I love the gun, and will be searching for the Heer impression to go with it.

Heer = the german army of WWII, part of the Wehrmacht. the whole of the wehrmacht included the Luftwaffe and the Kriegsmarine too.
