Yeah, MS-Arc talked to the guy who runs it. As long as we're on the paintball field, we won't have any problems. The law is aimed at stopping people from having them in visible public areas, not city owned paintball fields where you expect shooting.

Yeah I talked with Brian on that three different times and he's sure that we won't run into any issues with the city.

Hey, I'm pretty new to airsoft. I have yet to play a game outside of my backyard, but I just bought a new gun and I'm looking to try playing more seriously. Do you guys think this would be a good event for me to start learning the ropes, given it's a rec game?
Thanks

This is the perfect event at which to learn the ropes. Come on out and enjoy a casual game with us.

Done. Roster updated and it looks like we have a lot of new people coming out for this event. To those who are new we just want to stress that we will be strictly following MIA rules. You have to have full seal goggles, you have to CALL YOUR HITS, you have to watch your engagement limits, and for more of the rules click miairsoft.proboards70.com/index.cgi?board=r-n-r&action=display&thread=6786These are in place so that we maintain a safety for everyone and to make sure that everyone has a good time and plays with sportsmanship. The last thing we want to see is an argument brewing over hits that weren't being called.

I have returned from my month-long training in the Mojave Desert, and am glad to see this event will see the light of day. I will, of course, be there with the rest of the 313th!

Just don't smile for Knief. You never know when he's gonna give you a piece of 6mm candy forcedly.

Smiling is for pogues, FNGs, REMFs and back in the barracks. I'll be wearing my war face.
