The closest one is probably No Limits Park in Taylor.

We have our own private field in Taylor, with weekly events and NO ENTRY FEE!

I know this is a "dead post" but, we are now in the process of purchasing a property in Detroit, about one city block in size, which will serve as an indoor field once we finish restoring the structure. For reference, the Zombie squad.

Now that news is worth reviving a dead thread. Any more details about the place, size of the building, general location?

I can't give to much info at this point. The facility is an old industrial complex with what can only be described as a polebarn with what used to be a house attached. The metal building has two or three floors, looks like hell too. The area is surrounded by a 10 or 12 foot concreete wall on two sides and a 6 or 8 foot fence with barbed wire on the other sides... this is not going to be a pretty place, but it will be functional. It is located near I-96 about a half mile north of the freeway in a residential area on Detroits westside.

Hell, I don't think anyone wants to play in a pretty place. Are you considering opening this as a business, or what's the motivation for purchasing such a large realty? If you don't mind me asking.

Well, I must applaud your wise investment. Especially now with realty being so cheap. You could easily see your resale value double in the next decade.

I can't wait until you guys get that up and running. Having a place to play that is close is going to be so convenient.

eh, its going to be interesting...its definitely in the hood and we won't need special effects like fake gun shots because the real guns being fired around us will be plentiful. but if nothing else, it should be sellable for a fair amount in a few years.

Redknight, which district are you out of? I've been thinking of giving the owner of the old packard plant a call. Last year during operation 8 mile we were down there doing some search warrants and strolled in there for a little peek. Lots of vacant area with diffent levels and enough room for alot of people. What do you think?

What do you think? Well, any one of those old plants or warehouses along I-75 near I-94 would be great too, but you have to worry about clearing out all of the damn squatters. I am out of Northwest by the way.

I have no idea, its a project in the works... the place is vacant and some of the fixtures have been stripped courtesy of our resident crack-heads here in detroit...plus we are still working on getting it inspected and appraised.
