What would you think if i had a airsoft competition, with different categories for different players. Such as a sniper category etc. There could be food and trophies. Possibly have everyone pay $1-2 (food cost). This is something i just thought of, tell me what you think about it and any suggestions you might have.

I think something like this has been tried before. I would think a sniper competition lasting up to 6 hours where it's the last two-man team standing wins would be alot of fun. That and a time-trial for room clearing where you'd have to move through, room to room, hitting targets and avoiding fire. Classic accuracy and time competitions where you have to hit targets at a distance reliably to win. Or have a target tree where each side has an equal number of targets and has to eliminate them first. Maybe even old western shoot-outs at noon kind of thing where each person has to have a pistol in a holster, take out the weapon, and hit the other player the fastest.

As long as it's not force on force competition, it's a lot of fun. I've run some three gun comps and they're a blast.

Could a last sniper team standing game be a force on force comp? It may not be fun to watch, but it sure would be intense for the players. Maybe inforce rules like you have to reach a goal point every hour that's about twenty yards away. That way to keep people moving. But moving in a straight line wouldn't be good because everyone else would know where you are because the goal points would be pre-disclosed.
