I am happy to announce that I am the proud new father of my M14. I'm cradling it in my arms right now, and the beast is solid as a rock. ROF is off the hook. It weighs as much as a large newborn baby, and it stands just under my armpit when on end. I'm accepting applications for first targets, as I have not shot anyone with it as of now. So the question is who wants to get shot first?! ;D

I'm really too lazy to take pics right now and upload them, but i'm sure someone will take pics tomorrow at the game. That thing is a monster, my my friend Tony knows; he volunteered himself for target practice yesterday (ha dumbass has welts now!). Yea its the g&g, only problem is that when the hi-cap isnt wound all the way and stops spitting out bbs, the gun will make a grinding sound, but thats not too much of a problem considering that you should wind the mags all the way anyway.

Well Damo, are you getting the Conversion from STAR, or getting the gun from G&G? Because if it's the G&G, you should really call it by it's proper name, and that is the Uber Machine Gun (UMG). I maybe picking up a complete STAR UMP soon (EDIT* meaning a guy has it pre-assembled with the G36c gearbox and all for me already). I am thinking of buying both (the G&G UMG and STAR UMP Kit), and converting things around. I mean this because I love the STAR UMP, because it has nice and actual UMP trades, though it doesn't have a working cocking lever like the G&G model. While the G&G Model has "UMG" trades, but does have a working cocking lever, much like the Mp5s. Oh, and I am not commenting on your gun until I see pictures Mitch!  (or you feeding it BBs from a bottle  ) And with your new M14, you may wanna change under your avatar, to include it in your "arsenal list".  |

Wow Andrew I was really misinformed about the difference between STAR's UMP and G&G's UMG, maybe I should get the STAR version.....hmm +1 to you.
