For those of you that spent a lot in your tactical gear, and/or equipment, this just may be not be the place for you. So, if you just want to play a game for the fun of it, leave your tactical gear at home. Most people play with gear they don't use on the field or just wear t-shirts and stuff. And also, if you don't like diving, laying down and barrel rolling everywhere, you should be able to stay clean.

If the BDU's get too messed up, oh well Can we all agree to meet there one Wednesday evening?

Sure we could, though to keep in mind, it costs $10. And also, you need a waiver signed and stuff.
Also, unless at least 5 people go, they shut down (they wait from 6 - 7 to see if enough show).
Sundays are more or less better, you get a bigger crowd, except most have springers and that sort. I have only seen 4 other people (besides my team) have AEGs. One was an AK, another a Famas, another a G36c, and last an Mp5. (ACE on MiA was the Mp5 and the AK was Sarge I believe.)
So, just some food for thought.

I think that g36c totting person was me... Cause I usually go with sarge and ace to FB. Plus I haven't seen anyone else with g36c there except for those people with the cheap knock offs. If nothing is happening on the field in Romulus on the 17th which happens to be a Sunday. I say we all get together on that date? eh?

I would be up, and Sarge (or Gimpy), this one is for you since I, myself, do not know: What are the weapon requirements. I never had my gun chroned either of the 3 times I went. Would my M700 be allowed there? Even if it's 450 - 600 FPS (by the twist of a knob)?
Do they chrono your gun? Also, this one is for you Knief: Can you bring your chrono to one of the games, or start it as a habit. As I am unsure of my M700's FPS, and also all of my other guns, so I just want to check on it. Since if instead of my M700 shooting the supposed 450+ fps, I want to be able to be allowed in my new engagement limits.
Also, one side note. ALL guns must be concealed in a gun bag of some sort, they are kind of strict about it, since cops like to chill outside of the building, occassionally undercover. They have a big sign after you walk in about it. So, no holstered weapons. Must be in a type of bag.

Would my M700 be allowed there? Even if it's 450 - 600 FPS (by the twist of a knob)? Sad thing is, is that they don't chrono the guns before the games starts, probably because the majority of the crowd usually have low powered guns and the aegs they do get are un upgraded. Chronoing your gun there is 'Optional', and is just for kicks I guess. The only sniper rifle I did see was some kid with a crapper 9 he would shoot it one handed , like he was in the Matrix or something. Plus as you know from being there it's not the best place for a sniper rifle, being that the action is close. But they do have a chrono there set up in the back room. But I'm sure, hoping that the aren't mindless paint ballers that think getting hurt by their sport is cool, would take note that your gun isn't safe if it chrono's to high. But the guys that run the airsoft session are cool guys that think airsoft is cool, and they respect it. Unlike the other guys that work there. who actually fool around with the guns they have for sale on display, and break them. Actually one of the guys who run the airsoft session told me they do it all the time. They disrespect it as a sport/hobby. They actually have a mp5sd6 with a missing charging handle and a few other trashed TM's. Just be prepared for the atmosphere there. Honestly it's not that bad. As you may or may not know a wavier is required to play. www.futureball.com/FutureballLiabilityWaiver.pdf

If nothing else plays out for the 17th(I assume of July), then I'm there. My rents have no problems with me playing at places like this. Also, I'll be using all my gear, because I want to look uber 1337. I'm really not worried about it.
I'm still in ohio, and it's fun, albeit lack of computer time. I'll be home this sunday, and that's when I'll be on AIM again, so if you guys want to get a game going at futureball, I am ALWAYS willing to come, because it's like my only outlet.
Plus, a few games here and maybe the parents will loosen up.
Jack.

Yeah, well remember guys. This place is heavily packed with paint, from the paintballers. Anything you don't want trashed, don't wear, and anything you can wash should be fine. Also, you are going to have to strip clean your gun after the game, since my rolling fun teammate david rolled around the paint, not caring just as long as he didn't get hit, and the insides of his mags had paint, gun in a couple large spots. I ended up having to clean the gun, but I got to house it for a couple weeks cough*months*cough. ;D

Alright guys, I know El has an event set for the 17th on his field, so would you guys be up to trying to make it to futureball on the 31st? I definetely am going to be toting all my gear for this one, even if I ditch it halfway through the game. I want to represent for our sport, in the belly of the devils layer. PB fields......
Jack.
