FUBAR will be holding monthly games starting in April, the field is located at my property in Hamburg, Michigan. The field is approximately 10 acres give or take(Calculated with Google Earth, and a conversion calculator).
It consists of mostly medium thick wooded area, and a smaller field with 3 feet high field straw. There are currently 5 bunkers,(More will be added in the very near future). There will be rentals available, Green Gas, and BB's will also be on site. The field cost will be $15 to cover food and improvement of the field.
The concept is basically that of MOA's, but on the South Eastern Michigan side of the state.
The field is below, courtesy of Google Earth.
Key:
Houses are the bunkers that are present currently.
Red cross are the respawn points.
Exclamation point is the staging area.
The boarders in place are not set in stone as of yet, I will be putting up boundaries this weekend. I will update this thread with info.
We plan on having a max player count of 20 for the first game, to see how it goes. It will increase from there.
I hope to see you in the future.

Judging by the size of the driveway and comparing it to the field, this is a very nice skirmish field, I dont expect it will hold an OP sized force though.

I'd definitely come out for a game or two since it's not that far.
I'm getting excited now that there are more options for players other than going to the west side of the state to get in some killing time.

Ghast, we are mainly focusing on providing small games for players in the area. As Crazyman said, most of the games now a days are on the West side of the state. So hopefully we can produce some good games.

I love it when fields pop up 20 minutes from my house. Expect me to show up a lot, Oakey.

I figured that the field is close enough to most of the players on SEMIA, that we can get a good player base. So far it looks good, I will be going there this weekend as I said before. To get all the boundaries set.

I agree with everyone else on this thread. Its nice to have a field in southeastern michigan...especially on a forum dedicated to players in the Southeastern Michigan area. I will likely attend most games at that field as well.

I really hate to do this, but after discussing this with my parents further. And trying to work things out, they have decided to change their minds about the whole thing.
Basically it was a case of liability, my parents don't feel comfortable having strangers to the field and risking getting sued. Although I know that this is basically impossible that would happen. It is my parents decision not mine.
I feel like shit for leading you guys on like this, but I had the OK yesterday, and now I don't. I was hoping I would be able to provide games for everyone here on a regular basis. But now I don't see this happening.
Again I am sorry for this, if it was my way we would be playing.

Ahh!! You tease.. Don't worry about it, really. I mean, yeah it sucks, the field looks nice but I'm sure I can speak for everyone here that we all have somewhere we can play. Whether it be on the west side of the state or FSI's monthlies or even the Spyops events. I'd say that's plenty of options for us all and you shouldn't feel bad. Shit happens and as an adult, I understand their concerns as I'm sure everyone else can, too. Nobody wants to get sued. It's all good.
