Knief:
You may enforce your own rules and velocities as long as they do not exceed the insurers rules.
Also I went back and re-read the rules from the insurer and I must have mis-interpreted the semi-auto rule. Semiauto for snipers only all else can use reasonable firing modes including full auto. I am only concerned with everyone's safety. We can work through all the little bugs.

Oh Excellent. I should be out there on saturday, and wouldn't mind going over some of this stuff with you in person. A forum only works so well when you need a dialogue, you know? Thanks for doing so much to work with us. I, and I'm sure others, really appreciate the effort you're putting in to this.

MiA rules FTW!
Brian, thanks for your concern for safety and willingness to work with the community. I am sure I am not alone when I say it is greatly appreciated, especially for us here in SE Michigan.

Being one of the few guys to visit the field and meet with the owner last Saturday I can tell you that Brian is definitely easy to work with and is more than eager to open up to the sport of Airsoft. He even let skypilot shoot him less than 20 feet away just so he would know firsthand how it feels so that he can share that with others who have questions. I'm excited for this Saturday. It was only 3 on 3 last week and with the number of people supposedly coming this week it's going to be great.

Well I will definitely be there, I just got my first gun and the kids are both excited to play again. ( I promise this time they will bring their OWN gear to use(thanks guys for the loaners last time))
If I'm reading this correctly .12 bbs are not allowed, is this correct? I'm just wondering cause thats all the kids have (I'm not even sure if their Double Eagle guns can HANDLE .20s)

I don't see any reason why .12's wouldn't be allowed, though they aren't exactly the best bb's for skirmishing.

When we talk about bb weights at velocity, we're almost always talking specifically about when chronographing the gun. Once we know how fast your gun shoots with .2g bbs (the standard for chronographing guns), it doesn't matter what bbs you use because they'll all have the same energy behind them. A .12 will move faster, but it's lighter, so it hits with the same energy. And a .25 is heavier, but moving slower, so it hits with the same energy as the faster .12 fired from the same gun (this isn't entirely true due to the effects of drag and momentum, but it's close enough). Once you've chronoed with .2s, you can use any bb you want in that gun.

Well I had a blast, I don't know about everyone else. Kneif pretty much handed my ass to me on a silver platter every game but I didn't mind because I was Having fun. I remember one game we played at Anthrax Hill where Kneif was hiding behind a bush and I was laying waste to the bush Yelling for him to call his hits only to discover, after I got sniped by dirty dan, that there was a stump behind it. Haha, lucky bastard.

Oh, so now I'm lucky that I know how to use cover? I was wondering why you were blasting the stump so much. It wasn't until after that game that I realized you couldn't see the stump through the bush on your side. My favorite kill, which also resulted in my death, was with DirtyDan. I had popped my 400 fps cylinder in to get the extra range in the larger field, and he and I were taking pot shots at each other. I finally got a good bead on him due to his goggles, and sent over a double tap. I saw him start to move as though he was hit (it was one of those situations where you don't really need to call it), which he was. As my mind processed the fact that he was out (and I was happy, because Dan is always a high threat on the field), a bb that he had let go the instant mine hit him smacked me square in the goggles. I was so impressed with the cool-ass time delay that I wasn't even dissapointed that I was hit. That shit was just cool.

Wow! What a nice turnout yesterday was. At one point there were 22 people there to play airsoft (and 8 for paintball). We had a blast with all of you guys, it was my first game day with my new gun, and what a break in it had. I have to say No Limits is a very fun field to play at, I can only see 2 things that they might want to do. 1) add a village/cqb type area somewhere 2) grow some more foliage/undergrowth (there really wasnt any field with lots and lots of concealment) But hey it IS a paintball field so the fields are dead on for that type of play. I know Brian is very willing to work with us to make No Limits a great Airsoft field as well. Yes I am very new to Airsoft, but I played paintball for years and have some experience with different fields. Just my $.02

I have spoken to Brian about this (with skypilot), and he would like to add a MOUT/CQB area for airsofters and Law Enforcement training. First he has to see what happens in therms of airsoft demand at No Limits before He invests more money into A new market.

From what I've heard and seen. Some time this summer would be a great time for him to host a 12 or 24 hour event. I know alot of people that don't want to go or can't go to events because their 3 hours drive accross the state.

Good Morning To all the Airsoft community that made it out to No Limits Saturday the 16th of June. It was great meeting all of you. I must say that the airsoft community conducts itself most professionaly compared to the paintballers. It was a pleasure having all of you out. I hope everyone had a good time. As I have said I am very willing to work with the airsoft community, let me know your thoughts and concerns (be kind) and I will work with you. If I could see turns out like Saturday consistantly, I would be willing to invest in the Close Combat/Mout style field you are talking about.
Hope to see everyone soon, thnaks again for coming out Brian/Ninja

i think my crew's only complaint was the cost, but business is business and i think they all thought it was worth the $20. the fields were great, the allowance for just full seal goggles was much appreciated by our sniper, and i love this place because its 5 mins away from my house.
