What styles of play is the field set up for. I suppose with the amount of people we'll have we could just do a little team skirmish, and some hostage games.

We've done everything from standard team v. team to hostage, VIP, and destroying/collecting objectives. We'll be able to figure something out.

Ok, i decided that I better stop by the field to make sure that it's still available. It turns out that it isn't. They've got the entrance to the field marked with large No Tresspassing signs, warning that violators will be prosecuted and that the area is under survailence 24/7. I would say that The Drive In is now out of the question.
Anybody else have a field?

We did, but so did a lot of other people at the time. I haven't been there for over a year, and neither has any airsofter as far as I know. My guess is that word of the field spread in the paintball community (we shared the field with paintballers) and too many people started showing up, so they got annoyed and revoked permission from everybody. If I can find the number, I'll give them a call during business hours this week and see if we can get permission again.

This is just an idea until we figure the future status of the dive-in, but I have a piece of property in Livonia which we could use for airsoft skirmishes. However, I would only use it as a last resort option due to the limited objects to find cover behind. The arena is nice size though and incorporates woods a field type area. Let me know what we decide to do and I will dreadfully contact the owner and get permission.

We may have another Option.
I can call a former landlord of mine. He has a rather large chunk of property bout 10-15 min south of the drive in.
I wont give details until I can talk to him.
