This person who got the original permission, who did he get it from? Was it a one-time thing, or did the owner say we could play there for as long as we want? Is that owner still the owner anymore, or did he/she sell to whoever is developing it? That permission is only good if the person still owes the land.
And a verbal contract is only binding if it's made between two people of legal age. If the person on our end who made the agreement wasn't 18 at the time, then there is no contract because a minor can't enter into a legally binding contract of any sort.
I'm freaking out because I am of legal age, and I don't want to be held responsible for the whole lot of you. I don't want to have the police confiscate my guns. I don't want to have to go to court. It's a good thing that this field isn't in Washtenaw county or I'd be about 10 times worse.

Dave, the person who was given original permission is of legal age. I will talk to him in a couple days, You don't have to freak out guys, If its that big of a deal. We can switch fields.

But was he 18 when he made the verbal contract? That's the real question. If he was 16 when he assumingly made the contract, and is 18 now, it wouldn't mean jack shit.
I dunno, you know how my parents get their panties in a knot. I don't want any extra stuff making my situation worse.

because we don't have written permission on my field either.

ya i dont think we will have a problem playing at BoB, but i haven't been there in a long time so im not sure if they have started working on it or not

Okay, so when is the Confirmed date? I only ask this because if it is before the 25th, then my team can make it since I am the ride (I know where BoB is located). 24th can work. 25th can't. just want to know, my team wants to know, they keep asking me updates and want me to get you guys to change it. But if it's set in stone, I can't nor will try anything to change the date.

it is on the 26th. if its changed then i wont be able to make it. iwork 7-3 mon-fri and on the 25th i have a grad party to go to. well if its the 25th i may skip the party cuz i need to get a game in.
