When DF first started off, "Echo" squad took the left flank and there were about 1 or 2 photographers. I was in a couple cool action shots my self.

I'm so tired, today, but that's what happens when you kill people for over 5 hours...
I had a great time. Unfortunately, my MP7 was malfunctioning, and I'm pretty sure it's because it was using Bio BBs. It was a bad idea to try something new the day of the game. If anyone noticed how poorly it was performing, don't let that discourage you from buy one. When it's working, it's a really great gun.
But anyway, even though my gun wouldn't shoot more than 10 feet, I had more than enough fun being a medic. I wish that some things had been made more clear as far as rules, objectives and finer details go, but for the most part, the event was good.
It really got crazy toward the end, and the MEU didn't seem to be doing much in the way of helping us, but then again, that wasn't their real objective.
It was certainly a great experience and a good opportunity to meet people. I am very pleased.
A good portion of the time, I was escorted by one of CPT. Moore's team members (I don't think I actually got all of their names, even though I stuck with them most pf the time) with tremendous success. The amount of people healed definitely made up for the people I didn't kill.
The only major complaint that I have is that the DF and RA spawn points were too close together and we walked right into the RA spawn at the beginning of the game. This wasn't so much a problem for us as it was for the RA, who weren't too happy with us.

Caveman, I completely agree with you, if the OP plot had been what Toothbrush had planned, I think it would have saved the game for me, and the rest of MEU. But, we can't change anything now, so we'll just have to keep it simple next time. I had an amazing time the first hour or so. At the very beginning, The entire DF Force backed us up as we advanced through the woods, we took a couple fortifications and then moved on. Also, fighting our way to the embassy was damn fun, me and another Marine (Pat, he's not on these boards) got seperated from the rest of MEU and had to fight through about 15 guys, we dropped 6 or so and then we just bugged out to the embassy. I had an Ok time. Super six, Firefox, and I strolled up the trail and came across the Cease Fire negotiations (right?) we had taken out 3 guys further up the trail, after we strolled past the RA Spawn point . The three of us were confused and lacking any concern for our own safety. Standing there, in the middle of the trail, we opened fire on a mass of about 40 enemy soldiers, within seconds, we were all dead, I had taken 3 in the chest and one in the ear. I was quite amused when I saw about fifteen enemy guns and kill rags go up. For Semia's first Op, it was Ok, a lot of people enjoyed themselves, and that's all that counts, we'll just learn from our mistakes and make a better op next time. Edit: To anyone saying anything about MEU: I'm not getting offensive or anything, our Spawn point was just so isolated from all the front lines, it seemed we had 30+ RA in between us and the good guys. We couldn't do much with our (then) 6 or 7 guys.

Yea, one of those RA was me.. I was on break (medic has to eat to..) I had Overkill's Mp5k at my side, cause I destroyed my hi-cap in the first 10min of the game, and I was holding a sandwich and a sprite when I got lit up, I remember I started yelling at Supersix, about it being launch time or something.. And he went "Shhhhh", like he was on a secret mission or something, which I would assume he was ;D. It was also fun being a medic, it was my first time too. I had prolly just about 30 or so heals (no joke, I kept count). I only had 4 or 5 kills though.. And thanks who ever called me Uber Medic, I appreciate that.

for the people who were not there in the House when MEU tried to get the ambassador I'll describe it for you. MEU"are you MEU? ambassador"no" MEU(fires at him)are you out? ambassador"no"(returns fire) MEU"surrender or die"
that went on for about 5 minutes, funny as hell!

Hahaha, yeah Gimpy, sorry about that, I think I heard you say something along the lines of "Man! I think you got a BB in my sprite!" I would have laughed if I wasn't so freaking scared of being made and getting lit up by 40 of your buddies down the trail.

Why even bother having set objectives like capturing the ambassador and saving the downed pilots when the MEU turn traitor, the ambassadors get 'brainwashed' and the bodyguards get bribed? Well, Thats something we need to work on next time there is a VIP in the plot. We should give th hostages the option of being brainwashed and fighting for us(OP-FOR); or being killed and respawn fighting along BLUE-FOR. The other turn of this was what if the marines or BLUE-FOR got to them before OP-FOR did? I would have wasted all my bribe money on NOTHING! I never wanted an MEU traitor BTW. I hated the idea from the start. I did tell the other game planners to put an unknown twist or 2 in AGAINST me, to counter the bribed bodyguard. Like Zorak said, there is NEVER a flawless OP. I will admit, ours was pretty flawed. Keep the observations coming so we can make the next one better.

I thaught it was a geat op, except for some of the objectives being unclear and the RA and DF spawn points being so close. Otherwise I cant think of anything I would want to change.
archangel, that was crazy being stuck on the top floor of the Emabassy. Man, we racked up like 12 kills together just after DF penetration and everyone was dead. Kudos man, Kudos

Jake and I were with gimpy when you took us out. I got shot about 7 times in the bag of the leg and it hurt like hell. I had no idea that the ceasefire didnt apply to MEU, so I was pretty pissed at first, but then I realized I didnt have to walk all the way back to our fricken base, and that I could just lay down.

Yeah El, you were like an actor or something. Viva la Revolition!
Anyway, at games this big you really need more people dedicated to just keeping things running smoothly.
