Ya, I can't wait to see the video!
Also, who were the guys of DF I ran into early in the game when RA was just pushing out of our spawn? I remember I walked over a small hill by myself and saw like 10 DF guys who wern't looking at me for the moment. Unfortunatly that moment didn't last long and I soon was running like hell back to the hill.

if it was by our spawn, within an hour of the game, on the right of the forest by the RA spawn. It was The Devils Men. We were there for like 1 hour and 30mins till we went for the embassy.

My friend 'the in-bed' who took the video and pics, has a DVD made, and is reviewing it, and then will be editing it. I saw some of the raw footage. It's mostly all RA because that's who he was with. He has a video of the ambassadors being captured, the RA storming the crash site, RA storming the embassy, and the RA retreating, with some battles in between. It was a 20min long video. The digital camera pics he'll put up when he has time. And the 35mm pics are being developed, and then probably digitalized.. He went through 6 rolls of film. All this to develop, make the DVD and what not is costing him a lot of money he estimated $100, he would know to seeing one of his main hobbies is photography. So next time if you ever see him give him a nice thank you. hahahah nice one Gimp, it's 'Embed' as in short for Embedded. Not 'in-bed' hahah it's cool. As for the video: I'm about 1/3 of the way through editing it, it's turning out really cool, kind of like a mix of a news report and a documentary. The 35mm will be up thursday after 5ish. And I may make copies of the dvd and the pictures together pending on interest 'cause this is going to make me broke. Otherwise, thanks for letting me come guys, I had a lot of fun. EMAIL NOTE: If someone wants to make a list of the people that would like to have the video emailed to them that would be easy, otherwise I'm not individually emailing this video to each of you. Also, I'm not even sure if I'm going to let it be free or not cause this is costing me money, processing and film and shit=lots of money. So we'll see, but I may be able to email if there's one central list, and if I am nice and pay for the film all fro my own pocket.. |

If possible, in the end of the video, would you be willing to make a slide show of the stills you have? Believe me, I know it can be a pain in the ass to do, but if you're digitizing the 35mm, it might be a better idea. If you need any help, let me know. I work for my school district editing video, so I am pretty good at it. (I use Final Cut Pro). Also, PLEASE do not export as WMV, it's a pain in the ass.

Emailing a video is going to be difficult unless it's highly compressed. Most email providers won't go over 4mb and some even lower than that. So, probably your best bet would be to upload it online and have people download it from a central location. Just my two cents.
If that's the way you wish to go, I can loan out space on my server. I have my site hosted by Godaddy and I've got 10gigs of space with only a couple hundred megs published at the moment. ( I'm in the middle of redoing the whole thing ) So, there is plenty of room and hosting it would be free of charge, I just want to see it since I wasn't able to go..
Edit: Why not sell the video for a couple bucks a copy to recoup your loss and gain something for your time invested in editing.

Just curious, did anyone else notice their gun chronoing low? I KNOW I saw someone post something saying this but I can't for the life of me find it.
My classic Army M15A4 was chronoing at like 260ish range and I'm 98% positive it was at 300 last time I got it chronoed. . . .

I cannot say the same for my rifle, but yes I have heard accounts of this happening. There is about a 2 page discussion on MIA about it.
