I would not like to be on the RA side anymore...simply becuase of the uniform requirments. I just got some used woodland BDUs a few weeks ago and i wanna use them. I also like the look better than a mixed uniform...so go ahead and sign me up for the DF/democratic team and this is offical. When are we goin to get the details on medic and/or the respawning aspect of the game? Suggestion...we should have dead players meet in a certain area around where that team started or even multiple repawn points. Set a respawn time for like every 10 or 15 minutes, every 10-15 minutes the dead players go back to the game/battle. Is there a way someone can set a watch alarm or something that rings or makes a sounds every 10-15 minutes? if so i think this is good and simple idea, better than having individual players keep track of there time being dead before they go back into the game. This will keep players from goin in the game too early, which will make thing unfair.

About my earlier post, the Dem team's primary job would be to defend the urban area, but a small team could be defending the ambassador.

Don't bother Scott, I highly doubt they are going to change the scenarios now.
And as for the teams: The RA should have at least 6 (However many we have on the MEU in the end) or more players more than the DF, to make sure it's even.

I have an idea, in the very beginning of the game, there could be like 5 or 6 guys from the DF in the house which would represent the "US Embassy" with the ambassador, and most all of the RF forces could attack it and kidnap the ambassador, re-enacting the beginning of the conflict. Just a thought. I think this is a good idea, maybe the MEU should start fairly far away from the embassy, then the rebels actually have to capture the hostages, instead of just starting with them. Maybe let a small Dem team defend them at the beginning. The hostages shouldn't be able to fight in the beginning though, because it would be too hard to capture them without shooting them. Well, so *I am going to go review the event details after I post this, so I may find the answer*, but I have no clue what's going on, do the DF defend the Ambassador? And then the MEU come and rescue him? [Edit] So...basically the DF fight the Rebels, while protecting the MEU crew and the Ambassador? Andrew you kind of have it. ***This is when Damo, El, or Toothbrush comes in to clarify what scenarios we will be doing.*** The DF do NOT guard the ambassador or the embassy. The ambassador was retrieved from the embassy by a helicopter from the USS Nassau. Said Helicopter was then shoot down by RA forces. The ambassador was then captured by the RA so their was a never a chance for the DF to guard the ambassador. After the helo is shoot down, elements of the 22nd MEU were called in to perform a CSAR mission. The DF do NOT guard the ambassador. The RA and DF primary goal is more or less to fight it out. RA attacks the DF who are in the village. The MEU will start away from the other two forces so that they can attempt to remain undetected until the ambassador is safe. Once that happens, the MEU will assist the DF in the defense of the village/fighting the RA forces. El said he would be getting me a satalite image of the area so that I can better determine the overall start points/plot. Hope that helps, questions? Don't assume, ask!

I would like to direct all questions and further discussion of specifics like the scenario to THIS THREAD so that this thread is dedicated more to "official" stuff like sign ups and team assignments. I'll be cleaning out this thread tomorrow and hopefully condense it to about three pages. Thank you.

This is just a sign-up right? Not a registration? If it is just a sign-up sign me up. I ask because I'm not 100% sure i can make it.

Figure out if you're 100% before you sign up. You don't have to pay to register, but you really should make the comitment if you're going to sign up. We're depending on you to show up when we put you on a team. If half of one team doesn't show up, or if we don't know the approximate number of players, we're screwed. So know whether you're going to show up or not before you sign up.

My team (The Dirty Dozen) would like to play on whatever team still has room. We would like to preferrably stick together but it is not neccesary. So far sign up six from D12.
