and whats the chrono limit Article 22: The following are the minimum distance engagement limits for airsoft replicas. The following distances are the closest a player is allowed to engage another player in relationship to their replica firing velocity (fps -feet per second).
In accordance to semi automatic and fully automatic weaponry with a .2 gram bb:
1- 350 fps or 1.20J max: arms length engagement limit 351- 410 fps or 1.69J max: 20 foot engagement limit 411- 450 fps or 3.18J max: 50 foot engagement limit
The following engagement limit pertains to all replicas (bolt, AEG, etc) and they may only be used in semi automatic mode (one shot per trigger pull).
450- 550 fps: 70 ft engagement limit
Any replica firing above 550 fps is outlawed at all Semia airsoft events.
Only 6mm plastic bbs will be allowed at Semia events. If someone is caught firing metal bbs immediate ejection from the team is the consequence. However, the bbs may weigh anywhere from (.12 grams - .5 grams) but. All guns minimal engagement distance will be arrived at by their firing velocity of a .2 gram bb. Any gram bb may be used at the minimal distance determined by the .2 gram velocity reading during game play
Example: if a bolt action rifles velocity is 550 fps with a .2 gram bb and a player decides to use a .4 gram bb in play the player is still subject to the 550 ft engagement distance. Even though, the .4 gram bbs velocity would be around the 411-450 limit in spite of increased weight.
If one so chooses to violate any of these engagement limits a severe and immediate consequence will be installed upon the individual in violation. Semia organizer(s) will be the lone judges if so instance occurs and the consequence will depend on the level of harm caused/could of caused via violation of rules(s).

No. To remain in full auto, you MUST be under 415 (pretty sure that's the exact number)

Anything over 411 is semi auto only... i personally think it should be 415. So if people shoot for 400 fps they have some leeway.

At Op. Black Aurora they had 420 full auto limit, which seemed to work out very well. I really dont mind having to trade out a spring every now and then though, for game/event restrictions. Gives me something to occupy my time with!

The engagement limits in that thread are out of date, and I'll be modifying them after I make this response.
The engagement limits are as follows:
0-350 fps: Arms length engagement limit 351-410 fps: 20 foot engagement limit 411-550 fps: 50 foot engagement limit, gun must be bolt action or permanently semi-auto.
All guns are chronographed using .2g bbs.
These are non-negotiable and conform to MiA regulations.

I was wondering if there were any rules against mid caps because I have a 2500rd (home maid) drum mag, or four 100 mid caps, or hopefully I don't have to use my four 43rd standards. thats the only (Bad part of having a Sig)

I'm pretty sure the ammo limit is 800 rounds. So I don't think you can use your drum mag.

Only true support weapons can have drum or box mags. If you want to use a drum, show up with an RPK replica. There is no rule again midcaps, however, other than the 900 round maximum limit. You can leave extra bbs at your respawn point (if we have one that game), but you can't have more than 900 rounds on you at any one time.
Everybody else, please stop guessing at the rules. Let El, Damo, Gestapo or I explain them. We wrote them, so we know them best.

Is there some place selling midcaps individually? The best I could do was to buy an 8-pack of 100 round M16 midcaps, and here you guys are, talking about having bought 6 midcaps.
