Well, the last Sunday in July is coming around............
TIME FOR ANOTHER SEMIA MONTHLY GAME
SEMIA Monthly 5
July 30th at FutureBall's outdoor field in Whitmore Lake.
Location
The Futureball Outdoor Field is located in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, on M-36 (9 Mile Road), just one quarter mile west of US 23 on The Field is on Hi Tech Drive, about 500 feet behind the Proshop.
Price
$15 a head.
Rules
Velocity Limits
0-350.99 fps: arms length engagement limit
351-410.99 fps: 20ft engagement limit
411-550 fps: 50ft engagement limit and the gun must be permantently semi-automatic or bolt action only. Any gun shooting 411 fps or higher cannot be capable of firing full auto by manipulating any external switch.
We have been fairly relaxed about chronographing before previous monthlies, but that's changing this time. We will chronograph every gun on the field. We will send you away if your gun is shooting too hot.
All guns will be chronographed with .2g bbs. Remember, bring an empty mag (preferably a standard mag) to the chrono station. We will be using our bbs to chrono.
Please do your best not to show up with a springer (unless it's a high end sniper rifle). Rentals aren't available on the field, but you can ask around the forums and usually find one for a decent price. Do your best to get an AEG or GBB.
Kill Rags
You must have a red kill rag on you at all times. If you don't have one, you'll have to find one or try to buy one at one of the local gas stations. You must have a kill rag to play.
Goggles
You must have ANSI rated goggles that make a full seal around your eyes with rubber or foam. Safety glasses and shop goggles are not allowed. Mesh goggles are not allowed. We will be checking goggles as well.
Ammo limits
You can only have 900 rounds on your person at any time. You may keep extra bbs at your spawn point to reload in game if you need to. Support guns may have 2000 rounds in their drum or box magazine. Support gunners cannot carry more than 2000 rounds on them at any time, and can leave extra bbs at their spawn points. Support guns must be replicas of real world support weapons. An M4 or AK with a drum mag and bipod is not a support weapon.
Attire
You must wear some kind of BDU, whether it's camoflage, a flight suit, or plain OD, black, or blue BDUs. Please, no tee-shirts, jeans, or other civilian attire. This is military simulation, not street fighting. If you're wearing something really outrageous, like a red shirt, we'll send you packing.
Age Limit
The age limit is 14+
