I finally did it. I fitted a stock and fore-grip from a REAL STEEL G3 Next comes a metal body, mount the real flashider to a custom outer barrel, real charging handle, and everything metal gets a nice coat of semi-matte black duracoat Maybe real iron sights too

Do you still have to do the grip too?

Do you still have to do the grip too? I cant, theres no way to attach the real grip tot he mechbox. On a real G3 reciever, you have a bar coming down from the trigger group that the grip slides on to and 1 screw (on the right side) attaches the grip to the trigger group. On an airsofty G3 (and most other guns usiing a V2 mechbox), the grip attaches directly to the mechbox, with 2 screws coming up from the bottom of the grip into the mechbox. Sadly, this cant be done

I've got a better way for you to do that. Get a metal reciever and cocking tube. You'll get the weight and eliminate the chasis flex. Last time I saw you holding Karina on a slind, she was bending like a hooker.

If you get the OLD style CA bodies, it makes it heavy as hell. I did a Cetme conversion years ago with the old metal bodies, and it wasn't even fun to play with. The new bodies on the other hand are much lighter

I bought 4 of those and got a 5th with my parts kit (including 2 real steel mags, sold to a firend with an HK91). Now i need 6 more magazines to fill them all
