Is this all CQB or is there a large field good for sniping? Sorry about all the questions, I've never done any competitive airsofting before.

youtube.com/watch?v=I7uBMkyvJeMthat shows most of the field but there is more things such as bunkers and forts there now. yes it is out doors to. the field is about 4 acres. there is a house in the back corner. it is blueish greenish. we built it. there is tire forts, sniper towers, dug outs, jailcells, trees, and much more. the field has been rated by many to be very well.and yes it is semi auto only for a good reason. like knief said. thanks knief for your help. ...

While guns that shoot over 350 fps are allowed, their owners might often find themselves in a tight spot. The Dirty Dozen follows MiA rules, which mandate that all guns shooting between 350 and 411 fps have a 20 foot engagement limit. You'll get closer than 20 feet to your target a lot on this field, so if your gun fires hotter than 350, you'll miss a lot of opportunities for kills (and most likely be killed a few times as a result). If your gun shoots at 411-550 fps, it must be semi-automatic only (as in not capable of being switched to fully automatic in any way without disassembling it) or bolt action. At that point, you'll have a 50 foot engagement limit, which most of your tangos will be within most of the time. It's almost not worth it to show up with a sniper rifle shooting that hot, as Skypilot mentioned in the April 1st thread.

I'm probably only going to use 2 or 3 MidCaps for my MP5. You just don't go through that much ammo Your rifle may see some use in the competitions after lunch, depending on what S-System and Lil Bear have planned. I'm bringing my G3 just in case

I'd say original rules still apply - the place hasn't gotten any bigger...

No. Just try playing the game the way we're asking you to play it and quit complaining and trying to weasel out of it. You trust us to play an honest game, trust us when we tell you that we know how to play on this field.

Quit complaining about it and deal with it, either your gonna come and play, and have some fun with the rest of us, or you can stay home, and miss out on a good time. Besides, you can still fire as fast as you can pull the trigger, and that can easily be 3-8 bb's per second...its not that bad. If it really bugs you, try this: What I did, was plinked around my backyard and set up a bunch of targets, and went through at distance, *with my rifle*, and took them out one at a time, kinda of like what they show in the videos on youtube, but I only used semi, the saem way they do it. It's kinda a way to ready yourself for the game. You will eventually get the hang of semi, its not that bad.

dude i am not complaining, i was just asking cause i have 2 low cap mags for 3 of my guns we are using (star clips are on backorder all a sudden).its not a ultimatum, its not even a request, its a simple question one doesn't have to get emotional about, chill dudes. besides i like semi when the majority of other players have better guns that can fire faster i just hope you have the ak clips for rental/trade like you guys had originally said.

I have a CG mission early Sunday morning, if the mission doesn't get delayed due to weather I should be able to make it. Please add me as a possibility. I only hope there is enough parking with almost 30 people at this event. btw, will there be a crono at this event?
