I was thinking about purchesing airsoft elites mp5a5 and i know its basicly just a preupgraded ICS. I have been hearing both good and bad things about this company, and i would like to get other peoples opinions

Some people get great use out of them, some people get lemons. The lemons are a lot more common. Get a TM, or save up and get a CA. Or even save up a lot more and get a G&G.
I say go for TM, with the extra money not going to pay for the gun (In CA and G&G's case), you can get more mags, or a red dot, or bbs, ect.

i told you this earlier today......... THEY SUCK. AE and ICS are the same thing, and AE isn't pre upgrades, it has the same internals as an ICS.

To be honest with you, TM full size MP5's aren't too great either. With the exception of the k, and the PDW, which is just a k with a stock anyway, they're MP5's leave alot to be desired. I know alot of guys that bought full size TM MP5's, and spent so much on them they wish they'd bought CA to begin with.

Well, I have my TM's, and I plan on keeping em. I didn't have much planed for the MP5. Maybe spring and bearings. Possibly an SD conversion. The G3, thats a WHOLE other story. Ive actually found a way to fit a 555mm inner barrel in it WITHOUT cutting the barrel or adding a silencer I'm toying with getting an Armalite. I like Jack B's HK M4 metal body, but I'm still undecided on what to start with. Its not going to be ICS. Not after seeing THAT mechbox failure.

Ok, thanks for all your help i guys, after reading this i am definatly NOT geting one. Insted however, i have decided to get either a TM mp5, i dont know if i want the A4 or the A5, after holding El's A4, the front handgrip felt a little wobily because there was no battery in it, dos this happen in all A4s? because that would get annoying, if so, i will get the A5

He means that without the battery in the foregrip (like in the A5), it seems to wobble more without the battery. Get the A4, you will be happier since Large Batteries hold more, and you only need about one, while with the A5 you will need at least 2 Mini Batteries to get a full games worth.

If I could put fresh batteries in the flashlight, you would see its pretty damn bright. However, I have yet to play a CQB intensive game, and the only use I've had for the Tac Light was to signal my position to Mitch Ive been meaning to mod the foregrip to strengthen it, but I may put a metal body on it and see if that helps at all. The foregrip just doesn't seem to "Lock In" to the receiver very well. The other part of the problem is that the plastic is rather thin so A mini battery can fit inside it for the "A5" variant. (Actually that would be an A3 variant. the A5 has three round burst and fixed stock) As a result, the plastic the foregrip is made from is somewhat thin, and has a lot of flex. It seems somewhat doubtful that the stock TM foregrip would have less wobble. I may also get a standard TM foregrip so I can put my SOCOM silencer on it if that fits my mood. I'm sure it will fit tighter than the CA foregrip, but for about $20, its worth a shot

I can back up all the bad things said about the airsoft elites. I bough one as my first AEG, I never had a major problem, but LOTS of little ones, and then the motor kept comnig out of alignment. Its just not worth the hassle.

To fix the handgrip wobble problem,(this works for TM's M4/M16 line as well) go to a Walgreens, or Target or whatever, buy a plain black t-shirt, tear it into a few pieces and plug the foregrip with it. This is assuming you're placing the battery in the stock, or elsewhere.
