Knief said he was willing to lend his out Again though, that is what I think it should be and that is more or less just my opinoin. You point, gestapo, is also another reason why I am a supporter of the arm bands.

El, the diplomatic escort is going to be half pilots. Those guys need to be wearing flight suits and the like. As far as I know, I'm the only real diplomatic escort. I'll have my suit of course, but better shoes for safety's sake.
I have two sets of BDUs to lend out, one standard woodland and one marpat. You tear it, you buy it.
I'm very against arm bands, for two reasons. First is the realism issue, it just doesn't feel right. People should pay attention to who's on their team and be able to identify them to some extent. It'll add in a really cool situation with four teams wandering the woods. You wouldn't really know who's who in a real combat situation like this. You've just got to identify and figure it out. The other reason is because if it's visible enough to identify somebody at range, it's visible enough to give somebody away at slightly less range. I don't want that to happen.

What if we go woth our current uniform system, and ONLY the MEU uses a light green armabnd?
I mean, if you see a guy in the distance, carrying a G3, in woodland pants and dark blue sweatshirt, you know hes RA right?

I mean, if you see a guy in the distance, carrying a G3, in woodland pants and dark blue sweatshirt, you know hes RA right? That looks rather familar I am fine with the MEU using arm bands. We can't seem to reach a concensus on camo so green armband are fine with me.

So green arm bands for MEU and everybody else has the requirements that El posted?
It doesn't seem like it would be that hard for the MEU guys to come up with 5-6 guys that all have the same unique camo, even if they have to borrow and trade for the day.

Yeah, actually we (we being the MEU) all plan on using some sort of desert camo. I think a cool way to identify the teams would be to have the RA incorporate some sort of red into their uniforms, a bandana, a t-shirt, an armband, a backpack, whatever. It could be explained as... the party leader's favorite color or something.

As of now yes It doesn't seem like it would be that hard for the MEU guys to come up with 5-6 guys that all have the same unique camo, even if they have to borrow and trade for the day. Would be nice to see it happen, don't know how realistic it is in execution though. The MEU guys should probably talk (AIM conference) sometime to see what can be worked out. Otherwise, I see no problem in the MEU guys wearing armbands. Yeah, actually we (we being the MEU) all plan on using some sort of desert camo. Since when? Currently, I am not.

Oh, I guess it was just Damo, Livonia, Gestapo and I. Edit: And yes, an MEU conference would be nice.

For RF I am going with either camo pants or shirt, but not both.

That very nice Psychosis. Any chance you would be able to make one representing the other sides or at least the DF? What kind of logo should I use for the DF, and which troops should be represented in the picture? We should flesh out the backstory of Nubrushia a little more - location, flag, coat of arms, symbols, etc. Updates: Does the MEU banner look good, or should it be a different color? I also have tan and green Uniforms: the DF should have some semblance of organization, maybe everyone can wear a hat or something to signify themselves? www.garmentdistrict.com/store/rock/trucker/index_meshhats.htmPerhaps we can bulk order camoflage trucker hats for $3.50 each

I like the bottom one the best Psychosis. As for Camo Requirements. I think since the DF will be one of the larger forces, they should have the largest camo type widely available on this forum, that being Woodland. I have Desert I could loan out , if the MEU is going desert. Should fit about anyone almost, as it is a bit big for me. [Edit] I like what Psychosis is leading onto, but most will be wearing Full Face Masks (paintball masks), so, it would be sort of hard anyhow. For the RF, they could buy Bandanas like I think Liviona was getting at earlier, and Here, you can get them pretty cheap, 12 Bandannas for $19.92 (@$1.66 EACH, most expensive set, others are all $15.96 for 12) I was thinking that maybe the DF could get Boonies. I know Miller has one, and at the site I just linked, they are $8.97ish. I bet we could get a discount if we emailed them and placed a bulk order.

I second DF being woodland, with RA they can just wear a hodge podge of camo
Bandanas are a good idea, since they are cheap and one size fits all. The problem with boonies is that not everyone has the same sized head so we would have to take care of that too

Buy 'em large, ductape the insides to fit your head if it's to big. But, yes, your right, that is a problem. I will be picking up a Woodland beanie sometime soon, I also have a desert one.

It shouldnt be too hard for everyone to have 30 dollars at their disposal before march 5th as far as I knowto equip themselves with the appropriate uniform for their team. Every team should just pick a strict set of camo, and stick to it. I've used colored armbands before at op: broken promise and it is more of a hassle than anyting to play with armbands. If anyone doesnt think that they can come up with the money for a set of specific bdus by then or whatever other uniform then say something. But i think it would be awesome to go to a game for once as well organized to have team specific clothing.
