In order to keep the Op: Redout thread clean and dedicated to be more or less to sign ups and the like, please use this thread for any and all discussion of the specifics of the scenario, or whatever else is relevant.

Good idea.
I will most like have this "cannon" Ive been speaking of, working by the game, but i have 2 Questions, A: Would i be aloud to use it, because teejay has brought up a good point, the grenades that shoot out could hurt someone, but i don't know, there just plastic and they don't shoot that hard, I'm not aiming to hit anyone anyways, and B: i need a crew, Volunteers?

If they're hard plastic, then probably not. Without actually seeing it, I can't tell you. I suggest you bring it to the game, and if it seems like it will be dangerous, just keep it in the car. No biggie. And if it isn't dangerous, then it's a good thing that you brought it. I know gestapo will be using his M203 to launch footballs as anti bunker type grenades. We're going to have to figure out some rules on those kind of things.

Yeah, I've played with those before. My only concern then would be how hard your cannon shoots these things. Or if it's a mortar, how high? If you're launching them over 50 yards (the nerf footballs can go about 75), they would still hurt like hell, and could do some damage.

1: Those are relatively expensive, I don't know if you want to drop that much cash on a few grenades
2: They weigh nearly a pound, and I'm not sure it'd be the smartest idea to launch them at people.
Edit: Jeff beat me to it.

Don't know what your propulsion system is but you might be able to just shoot a plethora of bbs. Not sure one how well that would work that though.
I know I have seen M203 grenade mortars that only shoot the bbs but I am not sure about their effectiveness.

There not even close to a pound, a few ounces really. It's crazy thin plastic.

Yeah thats what i thought, but it would still kinda hurt to get nailed with one. My propulsion system is Co2, and i kinda have to have something to block the front of the barrel, other wise it wont create pressure to launch it, so a crap load of BBs wouldn't work. I wish it would though, he he.

Toiletpaper wadding. Just be sure to clean it up when you're done. You can't trash their field.

Grapeshot or SABOT round.
Cut a tennis ball in half and fill that will bbs. I am sure that or something similar could work and would minimize/eliminate the chance of a potentially dangerous projectile (beyond the bbs of course).

Will people have guns available to lend out? I might have a few friends coming who are playing airsoft for their first time.

Hey, guys, the Grenades weigh more than that. You fill them up with water, and getting hit with one of them could hurt, if hit in the right spot, heck it would carry more power than someone throwing one at you, so I am betting it could hurt someone.
What I would think would be best, is if the launcher shot the grenade in the air (I have like 7 of these laying around), and it would have to be shot high enough to allow it to explode 20 or so feet in the air, before it hits the ground. One problem there would be with this, is that as some people have seen when I brought them, is that they don't always work.
[Edit] Also, I will be using my M203 as well as Gestapo I guess is, and mine can also shoot out Nerf Footballs. I just picked up one of them Madbull Escort Grenades last week or some time ago.

If you're going to use your 203 with footballs you should probably be put on the other team so both the DF and RA have grenade launching capabilities.
