Did you even read the other 12 pages in this thread? theres a LOT of information about the event in them, I suggest you read them. the game is not ready to run just yet. everything you need to know will be posted when that time comes. This game has been in planning for almost a year now. It will be worth the wait

I'm talking about what someone just commented on, not the whole thread. So don't get on my fucking case. then you should have been more specific..... All I'm trying to do is help you here, don't bite my head off If you can quote a specific post that you don't understand, it helps A LOT! Make sure the fist part of the quote command is used, it looks like If you have any further issues with me, PM me

And please spell out your words completely. "Sry" doesn't stand in for "sorry." Nobody is going to gripe if you have a typo every now and then, but you need to make the effort to use proper english. That includes capital letters and appropriate punctuation as well. And please please pretty please, if you think a moderator is wrong when telling or asking you to do (or not do) something, don't get defensive about it. He's probably enforcing a long standing rule that has a good reason behind it. If you don't understand, PM either that moderator or myself (or both) and ask why we enforce that rule, and we'll be happy to answer you. Just keep your cool, regardless of who you're pissed at and what kind of day you're having, and everything will be a lot more pleasant for everybody.

Alright. On other forums usually it's accepted. I'll use the real words.

Easy now, easy. This isn't a fight club forum, it's just for dudes that like throwing plastic not punches. Anyway, we've got most of this op grounded...now all we need to do is set the rules....and I'm up for sugestions on that. We DO know how we're going to wall-off or snake tail the city and we do know the date, and decore and assighned groups that we must employ, for scenario purpose. I'll post more when we're done with the Sept 2 OP.

so most the people with have pistols/shotguns right.
the only question i really wanna know is how will the zombie/infected rule go?
i was thinking for humans if you get touched by a zombie you go to respawn and come back as a zombie.
for zombies if you get shot you just go back to respawn and get back in the game.
keep playing until everyone is zombies.
you think it would be easy to just hold a place down. but after more people become zombies and the less ammo you have. it gets really exciting. i know i would be shitting my pants if i had a clip left and there were like 30 zombies out side my hiding place. just like RE4 when you run real low on ammo you get scared and starting thinking fast. then you start making mistakes and you become food. lol just my thoughts.

Thanks Karafa, I just might take you up on that....we have these construction parties every now and again....I'll put some pop on ice and order some pizzas.
The infect rule...is shaddy. some of us want it one way others want it another...a conflict of opinions to put it properly.
My thinking is the infect rule is an adapted "knife kill" where you touch someone they respawn instantly on the other team, Buuuut they ARE dead in all other aspects, meaning they can't give other peoples positions away, then again I like the idea of them having to go to a spawn zone to re-enter the game. I don't know...everyone has their own idea....some people want instant infection, others think Zombies should have to be touching you for 5 sec....which imagining myself in that scenario...pistol in-hand...zombie trying to grab ahold of me for 5 whole seconds....my next thought would be to the zombies health insurance policy...cuz his ass would be on sick-leave in 2
Oh, and there are also opinions as to a two hand or one hand infection...one hand takes (?)sec and a two hand take (?)sec. well who knows I'm open for all sugestions.

If any part of a zombie's face (paintball mask I would hope) touches your body while you're still alive, you're infected. How's that?

All that counting stuff is way too complicated. And not only that, people aren't going to be gentle when they're removing a Zombie's hands before the 5 seconds is up. Think about it like a touch football game. At the very least, if you're out of bbs (or never had a gun), you're going to run. Could you keep your hands on any runner in a touch football game for five seconds? There's no way to do it without tackling them. And tackling in the woods or in the city is going to get dangerous fast. Keep it a touch thing, or even a more forceful tag so there's no, "you didn't get me!" "Yes I did!" stuff.
Another way to do is what you call the wrap rule in touch football. Instead of just a tag, the Zombie has to wrap his arms around the victim. Nobody has to be tackled, but the Zombie has to make realistic contact to change the victim. It's basically instant, so you don't have to worry about counting or the victim fighting off the zombie while the zombie counts. You only have to worry about the Zombies tearing the victims' clothes if they're not careful. That should be taken care of by a nice warning before the game to not pull at shirts.

I agree, the counting thing realistically won't fly, but I think it would work if we treated it as a knife kill, does anyone object to that, I mean you're out there with a weapon(gun) the zombie is completly unarmed, so if they manage to overpower you or sneak up and pull a fast one on you....my hat would be off to them, if you can sneak up and get me with I knife kill, I wouldn't even hesitate to call it. In fact I'd be impressed, talking about sneaking up on people and actually pulling it off are two different worlds. However before people start picking their cozy little human slots....know that we will be remodeling the city...................in favor of the zombies.
Oh, almost forgot...It is not required for Zombies to wear paintball masks but we do encourage them as well as beleclavas, hey it'll be a little cold anyway. Can't argue with another layer.
