I'd rather see something more like Zombies have to knife kill people, and the group of survivalists have extremely limited ammo (if anybody has a shotgun, he gets to carry as much ammo as possible because you gotta have a shotgun in a Zombie scenario). Something on the order of one or two realcaps per person or pistols only or something.
I don't think that we should make headshots the goal of the game, because that's just unsafe. If we do that, however, all Zombies would have to wear full face masks or at least balaclavas. Without those, a few people would probably end up like Mr. Embed.
If we wanted to get more complex, we could start the game with very few zombies, and the survivalists have one gun with too few rounds to kill all the zombies. Then, when a Zombie touches a survivalist, he's down for like, 2 minutes, and then becomes a Zombie. An organizer could plant everybody's gun and ammo (labeled with the user's name) in various caches throughout the field. The survivalists wouldn't know where the guns were, but could stumble upon them to arm themselves. As the game goes on, the zombies are likely to grow in numbers but the survivalists are likely to become better armed. If we do it right, the odds will go up for goth groups evenly (maybe higher for the Zombies at first). The Zombies win when everybody is converted to a Zombie. The survivalists win when all of the Zombies are killed.

I guess once a zombie grabs you, youre dead, or you turn into a zombie. But that can get complicated

You start out with 2 "zombies" and the rest of the players are humans(or whatever designation you want to call them).When you get killed by a zombie you become one, when all the humans are zombies the game ends, and the zombies win. Or if time runs out and there are any remaining humans left, the humans win.
The Zombie's could only use knifes, and the humans could only use shotguns and pistol(this could probably, and will have to be changed do to lack of shotguns and pistols). There could be a 1 hour time limit for each game.
For respawns, zombies would get infinate, and when the humans get killed by a zombie they would go to the zombie respawn point. Respawns could be 10 seconds from the point you get to the spawn, and then you pull out your knife and go at it.
Of course since almost no one has a knife(except El that I know of)then you could get one by the time of the game, or if the game planners alow, you could make one. Although that's all up to the game holders.
No I consider Dawn of the Dead zombies dumb, and actually technically 28 days later zombies aren't zombies. They are frenzied fuckin people. They actually have a thought process, which is what I'm getting at.

I'm defiantly interested in this. I've been trying to get an Umbrella Operative load out for the past week. So if we are doing this, I'd like to be a human. But because Zombies, aren't exactly intelligent, they shouldn't be able to communicate with each other, or anyone around. It would make it a little easier for the human side.
