well as a Zombie you can wear what you want, and use melee weapons but as for hanging on buildings, that can kinda present a danger of droping on top of people, And though I personally would think that was the coolest shit I've seen on the field...other would get pissy about it....I guess it would have to depend on the situation.

Well.. I see what you're saying. I don't think I'd be dropping on anyone, more so hanging up above so when they entered and cleared it and they got a false sense of security I could drop down (not on a person) and commence the stabbing.

I think we should start with a end of school, summer zombie fest. Then one for Halloween which would be like November 1-2 if it's overnight.

Not sure if this is reviving a dead since this was the newest thing in the sections. Anyways to make it fair on the zombies it would be cool if the humans only had spring pistols that shoot below 1J.

I am only posting here b'cuz it seems relevant, my team is affiliated with zombiehunters.org and they are all about the zombie scene for charity events and we have recently started discussing using a park for a springtime event which would be a L.A.R.P. event with zombies/survivors with several groups of survivors engaging in a sort of scavenger hunt for vital supplies and ultimately an escape. It would probably last a few days over the course of a weekend. if anyone in the metrodetroit area would be interested in joining/helping or just has some useful ideas or helpful input, plz pm Aknoll or Redknight of the ZombieSquad with info. We have been discussing using pie plates attached to the chest to mark headshots, which kill the zombie, all other hits only result in a "knockdown" during which the zombie player sits and counts to 5 then gets up and continues to eat and infect players by "bear-hugging" them. for such an event we were considering limiting the fps to an extremely low power...any thoughts on this matter will be considered and would be appreciated. We are hoping to set up this event for spring/summer of 2009. Since out Parent organization is a nonprofit group, we would be trying to keep the prices for everything low, and all proceeds would go towards real-world disaster relief in the form of donations routed through Zombiehunters.org

Maybe we should get back on topic now...
Zombies wear what they want (preferably old/raggedy civilian clothes) EXCEPT whatever the 'survivors' wear. The 'survivors' could be 5-10 armed (airsoft) people vs the rest (zombies) who can only melee or knife kill. The survivors wear gasmasks and carry their favorite machine/support gun.

Off topic nonsense deleted Maybe we should get back on topic now... The only problem with that is that the lenses in gas masks are not ANSI rated for BB strikes, and often times made of glass. I doubt an airsoft BB could go through such glass, but if it does break or even fracture, glass particles will come off the glass, possibly entering the eye. My gasmask isn't for airsoft. It's for when the BATFE and/or national guard kick my door in ;D If this event gets off the ground, I will make a trip to michigan for this

Maybe a combo of civilian clothes, civilian weapons (Semi-auto AR-15's, shotguns, lots of pistols, etc.) and some military clothes. Trying to make it realistic. vs. zombies (same as mentioned above) who could put on a bit of Halloween fake scars and ketchup blood.
