Well it is now time for another SFOD-D OP in Davison. We all feel that our last OP (Mega pixel) was a great success for our first OP. The date is going to be either July 29th or July 30th. The only thing keeping this OP in the planning stage is deciding on Saturday or Sunday. Let’s all talk about it here and get it squared away ASAP.
We have made some huge changes in the field. We have constructed a small town. The town is very nice. Dare I say we have the best field in Michigan? You can decide. I don’t want to disclose a lot about the town because I sorta want it to be a surprise. Our last OP brought in $145 but in the past 2 ½ months we altogether more than $600 in to our field (why does ply wood have to be so expensive?).
There will be some changes in this next game. We decided that we won’t have the small 40 man limit. We’re going to bump that up to 100 people (that way 70 will show up). We’re also going to have to raise the price to $25. Not only do we already dump our pay checks into this we are going to buy some things for special effects. Some of things being: a flair gun, flairs, USGI smokes grenades (which cost $50 a pop), and what ever else we can afford. Trust we our last Op cost us money and this one is going to leave our team bankrupt. My buddy George is back from VMI (Virginia Military Institute) and he has a big Army 1 ton truck to hall people around in. Then I have a Military ID now so I can buy White Smoke Grenades and all that good stuff. I’m going to do my best to make this the best Milsim in Michigan. We’re going to use pretty much the same rules as before. Right now I just want to get a date down. Then I’ll talk to El to post all the Rules and the scenario under Scheduled Games. But feel free to PM me that your going to come.
When this makes it to scheduled games we will put up a video of the walk through of the town and all that jazz.
