And this got completely off topic....though this is off-topic. Hmm, I like Doritos, the Ranch (blue kind) and the cheese (red kind?). I also like the Taco kind too. Yum yum Hmm, fascinating though El that you got to replace a part older then you (or something along those lines....i kinda lost my train of thought when the topic got on Doritos).

Yet Gestapo has his ways Ive been partial to the 89 and later Thunderbirds myself. I had an 89 SuperCoupe once. Talk about a TORQUE-MONGER! with a Roots blown and intercooled 3.8 V6 that made more torque than a 5.0 mustang at half the RPM. I ate up Sooooo many tires. God I miss that car

Would you look at the ads on top of this page. Ha ha it tells you how to get a recipe for taco dip, and how you can get mexican tostadas. On the note of cars and such, well kinda, I'll see if i can get my friend Shaun (resetg) to post pics of his dropped out go-kart on air-rides complete with air compressor, tank, and switches. I even helped manufacture it (a little).

Hey el, if you like that supercoupe, I should take you for a spin in the typhoon. 4.3L V6 capable of 20lbs of boost(although mine flutters around 15). With awd that thing takes off like a rocket. No spin ever, it goes straight and gives you whiplash when the turbo kicks in. It's always a blast to beat some sports car in an old jimmy.

If you want more kick out of it. let me know. I got a hook up at superior turbo. Sounds to me like the bearings are starting to give out, or a boost control device (wastegate??)

yep, boost solenoid(cheap part at least) is dying out, possibly the wastegate(not so cheap), but I can't tell until I get the boost working right. That's the tip of the iceberg... I love projects! Considering when I got it, I barely got 5psi, and it bogged out at low rpm's, I think I've done well so far.
And heck yeah! I always need parts. I got a connection at detroit turbo right now, but they don't always have alot in stock.
oh yeah... cheetos are the only way to go.
