First up is my sporterized M14. I still have all the original parts for it i payed $350 for it and did some slight touch up work on it. Next up is my M1 Grand. Payed $650 for it at a gun show not to long ago but i think it was well worth it. Seems to of been never shot and is really a nice peace. Next is my sporterized Norinco factory 26 Pre Ban SKS. On it is a ATI Fiberforce Dragunov stock ATI folding bipod on the bayonet lug detachable 30 round mag AK-74 style muzzle break "note its heavyer for the 7.62X39mm round" im still wateing on my scope and mount for it. im putting a PSO 3-9x24 Tigr with range finder on it. Everything on this gun is milled in adition to the threaded barrel outher later models had barrels that pined in. i payed $300 for it in stock form then added the outher stuff on it. but you can find versions of the sks from $80-$1,000 for a rare east german I got a few more but im gonna wate till its nice out again and take some outdoor pics as wel as a big famly pic. If anyone shoots in here hit me up and we can go to the range and you can try some out.

i have a pre ban chinnesse SKS, and i just pust the 30 round extended clip/mag (don't know what u really call it). The rounds are not feeding right and when u shoot the rifle unspent rounds eject from the top. I'm so pissed, because that gun shoots so good. I paid a $180 bucks for mine. ;D
My friend has a Romania AK-47, its pretty badass.

that might be the problem because the 30 round extender is from some different kiind of SKS so it doesn't fit perfectly but i'm taking it to a gunsmith on wenesday to fix it.

if you were close i could fit it to your gun for ya. its not all that hard. most of them feed like crap tho what you wanna find is a american made one you can get them from sksman.com just be carefull if your norinco isent pre ban. then you could do some time in club fed for that mag if you dont have enought complyance "us made and stamped" parts on it.
what factory was your sks made in? on the left side there should be a triangle on it with a number in the middle

You know you lose accuracy with that bipod attached to the barrel right?

? do you even know anything about guns?
Ok let me school you on the sks. The sks was designed and made with a bayonet. that bipod weights the exact same as the stock bayonet that was on it. Also in adition to the wolff srpings a recoil buffer and a 1 "sniper grade they range from 1-3" barrel i get 1 inch groupeings at 100 yards with that.
bipods dont make you lose accuracy if you know how to shoot and use a gun.

The SKS, is very unaccurate with the bi-pod or bayonet on it. Adding weight onto the end barrel will also be harder to hold.

Its his gun,if he's happy than thats all that matters. superduper is correct, the only reason it would be inaccurate would be if you yourself were inaccurate

harder to hold you a girl? let me guess you think that a sks has to much kick right?
well i have a sniper grade sks "grade 1 on the barrel" and i got 1 inch groupeings out doors at 100 yards with old russian surpluse ammo. the sks is by far more accurate than a AK do to its 20 inch barrel oposed to the AK's 16
and like i said the guns were sighted in for the weight of the bayonet in the front i dont know if a rifle is to heavy for you if your use to plastic toys but everyone whos handeled my sks said it was one of the best shooting sks they ever shot why else do you think i would mount the bipod whare the bayonet goes and remove the bayonet? hell i can put it back on put a sand back on the barrel and still shoot good you just gotta know how to fire a rifle what im sad to say sounds like you dont.
there is no inaccurate only inaccurate shooters who dont know how to shoot. its just not as simple as pulling the trigger you need to set your sights for the ammo your useing each brand and type shoots diff. even the weather will change how your rounds shoot. proper stance and hold. proper breathing and you dont pull the trigger you squeze it with the same part of your finger every time.
on a side note today at the range i out shot at 100 yards a armalite ar-15 with my "inaccurate" sks and he was useing rem. loads i was russian surpluse ammo and he even had a scope. so thats proof the gun is only accurate if the shooter knows how to shoot and use it

What I want to know about is that Garand. How accurate is that thing? and do you by any chance know what it's throat erosion and muzzle wear are? Also, 350 for an m14 Are you sure that's american made?
