Bah! It suck so bad when you have to wipe your whole hard drive because some of your family members dont know how to use a F%*& computer!, yeah so for the last 13 hours I have been trying to back up what I could before I had to wipe my drive, I got some damn virus that wouldn't let me be on for more than 10 seconds unless in safe mode. So now I have to re-download EVERYTHING on my computer. IM running on baisicly windows and my internet software right now!

2 hours of sleep and 10 hours later Im almost back at factory installment settings, after a DOS prompt hell, all I have to do now is reinstall my programs that I have CD copys of, recover my downloaded software (legal stuff) then recover my music and other things from *cough* *cough* information sharing networks (also legal  ) No I was not looking at porn meetmrbullet, I was downstairs and my mom called me and said what does AVG security breech mean? I flipped out and said what did you press she said "ignor" I almost shit myself. a lesser virus I could have just ran norton but this one was a little bitch. Thanks guys |

This is why I love my macs...
But man that is a bitch. I've had a few run-ins with viruses over the years. One at my office caused havoc on multiple machines and both of my servers. Over a holiday weekend I had to reformat both servers and 4 user systems, as well as run scans on the other 12 computers to make sure they were still good.

AVG is a free virus blocker, and for the virus... If it were spyware, it would let him use his computer. You can't spy on a computer that's turned off. |

Avg has saved me many times. I dont really mind reformatting, i never have any important files that arent backuped somewhere. I do it once a month to stay organized and at optimal preformance. My pc is a gaming rig though.

Yeah AVG has stopped it many times before however it only destroys virus' after they have infected a file, this is why these type of "deadly" virus' are hell.
IM happy to say all I have to do is re-download a few games and finish getting the rest of my music.
