Hi everyone, Me being who I am, I natrually like things that go BOOM and flash. Going through spyops.net today in school i noticed in the training weapons and airsoft guns, they had a flashbang/stun grenade for sale. I would love to learn how to make them but just can't find any websites to where I can learn, so the next best thing would be to buy one. Has anybody bought and or tried one of spyop's flashbang/stun grenades? www.spyops.net/airsoft/airsoft_htm/FLASHBANG%20TRAINING%20DEVICE.htm

You need to be certified and trained to buy and use them. We tested one out at a Dirty Dozen game once.

Most flashbang trainers that don't use the standard grenade fuse use a .357 blank.

Most flashbang trainers that don't use the standard grenade fuse use a .357 blank. that is the case at the dirty dozen field. Li'l Bear demonstrated A "Saf-T-Bang" training "flashbang" at the field once. It uses a special .375 blank cartridge with a ~2 second delay loaded into the cartridge. This device allows you to pull the pin, drop the spoon when you toss the device, and ~2 seconds later "BANG!" The down side is that a special license is required to purchase and use these, and there $6 or so to re-load them This is why I want to make something that uses more economical .22 or .38 blanks

Actually if you based it off a 12ga. it would be easy to make a delay and you can buy a spent 12ga shell for$ .05 and 1000 primers for $30. Doesnt a grenade fuse have a primer in the top? Even if we build these would we be able to use them?? Being pyro and all, There is one training flash bang i know of , well its a bang that uses co2 it is called a Thumper but i dont remeber who makes it.
