It reduces forum clutter if you just edit your first gallery thread with new pictures. Just remember next time, thanks.

Not bad, I'd suggest getting a crome paint and maybe doing some paintwork with that, nothing that sparkles, just good enough to make it "pop" more.

I actually did that today. Hit the slide with a coat of jet black, adn re-sanded it. It looks much better, but it's definately still a work in progress. I'm gonna end up getting some stuff to polish it nice and shiney, like Pealdrummer's 1911, only mien won't be done the same way, only a few select areas will be polished.

Man just go through the grits. I used to work with sand paper everyday at a sword shop. Start with a 320, dry then wet, then go to a 400, dry then 600 wet and dry, then a 1000 dry thn wet. And dont start a new piece just keep rubbing with a warn piece when wet sanding it. Then when your done if the shine isnt complete, polish wheeel it. It will shine like a baby's bottom! Hope this helps ha. It was my job for a while and it is vigorous.

Actualy, I neve wet snaded..I just worked my way up the lader of very fine papers..startng with 320, up to around 500...The buffed with Mothers Mag & Alum. polish about 4 times, till it got nice and shiney. The M9 is still a work in progress. I want to get the innard out of the slide, and doa 2-tone on just the side panel, just the faces with the ridges on both sides, the side curved part leading up to the tip(where the frame narrows up), the front face(same as the 1911, front sight notch, the trigger and the hammer. It's gonna be badass when I'm done with it. And..I gotta agree woth Relish, although the m9 is indeed "SICK!", the 1911 still has it beat by a longshot ...But the M9's gettin there ;D
