Hey guys time for a rec game out at our new field. Skypilot is putting together a scenario and it will be posted later today. The cost will only be $10.00

A production series of Vietnam Conflict Events.
Event: Battle of Dien Bien Phu
Year 1954, The French Union has made one last ditch effort to cut off Viet Minh supply lines into the French territory. However the Viet Minh had other plans for the French Union, including the use of anti-aircraft guns and heavy artillery on mountain tops pointing down on the French Union.
After a two month siege by the Viet Minh on the French Union many French Union soldiers who attempted to flee were taken prisoners.
Shortly after the Battle of Dien Bien Phu the French Union negotiated a cease fire with the Viet Minh to pull their troops out of Vietnam.
An intelligence report has shown that possible Military War Camps have obtained and refuse to release soldiers of the French Union. The French has sought the U.S. Military Assistance and Advisory Group for help in this matter. The US has quietly agreed to seek out these prison camps and rescue any prisoners.
In order to keep this objective secretive, the US has decided to send in a small elite Airborne task force to swiftly and quietly resolve the problem of their French allies. The US knows this won’t be an easy task; the Veit Minh has fortified position upon of mountains looking many miles across vast valleys and supply lines of well armed troops.
Due to the anti-aircraft support, Airborne will drop just before dawn in the cover of the heavy mountain side Fog the sets in. Because of the Fog, the Drop Zone can only be estimated in the approximant area of the POW camps. Airborne is exercised to use extreme caution and avoid contact until reaching the POW camps.
Once rescuing any POWs, Airborne must reach and secure the LZ until their transport arrives. The US Air Force advises due to the anti-aircraft support in the area, pick up may not be achieved until night fall.
Your mission if you choose to accept.
US Airborne.
-Locate POW Camps and radio in position. Artillery strike will be standing by to destroy any evidence left behind.
-Rescue any French Union POW’s and escort to LZ.
-Secure LZ and radio in for pick up.
-Maintain Radio Contact with HQ for other in-game objectives.
Veit Minh.
-Secure POW camps.
-Partol area for fleeing French Union.
-Keep Supply Lines Secure
-Maintain Radio Contact with HQ for other in-game objectives.
