Flaming

It seems like people here are flaming and verbally attacking others more and more often. I'm not saying I haven't contributed to the problem but it has to stop. I would hate to see SEMIA be turned bad by this problem and I will do my part to stop it.

If anything I have said on this forum was found insulting by others, I apologize right now.

Some people, I think are just here looking for a fight, and other people just dont know when to drop something, or when they have lost an argument.

I think some people need some sensitivity lessons, but all seriousness, We are going to start banning people for a pre-determined amount of time if this doesn't stop. We are still in infancy and got a lot of growing up to do. But lets try to make this a good experience.

the question is really why the hell do people blow lill comments WAY the hell out of proportion?

In addition, moan about corrections made to there post... if they did post somthing that is infact NOT true.

People just need to post with integrity, and get over it... for the most part.

I think I out of almost everyone here, perhaps gastapo could compare to the way people have treated me in the past on forums (i can't i say i didn't agree, but it was inappropriate). All i ever did was look at those comments made and go whatever..... everyone else should do the same.

I mean its only a forum..... don't let it rain on your good day... get over it.

However, for the sake of the team i'lll stop. However, most of the time its done in sarcasim (people who know me understand this).

However, i will say this in addition to what was said above.

- it is NOT flaming when someone goes against the rules and someone else makes them apparent of there wrongs (wether or not they knew or didn't).

People started arguing over whos hardcore and it became a brawl...

Yes, things were out of proportion, and yes the guy took it way too hard, but things got way out of hand...

Do not bring a bad temper to this forum, nor attitude at that. If everyone would just sit down, stop and think before making a rant, things wouldn't get out of control as it it. I have made numerous rants on MiA, and then later, I was like "What the heck was I thinkinh?". I would then apologize and remove my blatant marks.

Like I said earlier, I think people just need to stop expecting an argument to break out, and there wont be as many. Everyone is just so quick on the gun. Take your finger off the trigger fellas.

Ok I believe 90% of what is called flaming can be taken care of by inserting the smily ;D after every insult. If that doesn't happen, i think that i may just decide to delete the unnapropriate portions if I deem it necessary. If people really want to argue with eachother theres always instant messenger for that, so feel free to use it.
